No one is going to care about this, but I grew up playing hockey on that rink (lakeshore lions arena). It was also one of the practice rinks for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and for many years when I was growing up my friends and I would go and watch them skate whenever we could. It was great. But a few years ago they built a new building with four rinks beside lakeshore lions, and the leafs moved to that rink (along with all the minor hockey teams). Many of us were under the impression that lakeshore lions had been converted to something else, but I'm happy to know that the ice rink I learned to play hockey on and have so many fond memories of is still around.
