@@mats7492 you’re confusing tape and film. Film can be high quality even if recorded 100 years ago. Tape was usually very low quality but these are high quality nbc master tapes.
@AvengerII2 жыл бұрын
@@walnutcove8583 It's probably an upscale. This is from 1997 and TV back then was still CRT and the max you could get was generally less than broadcast standard (720 X 480; hi-def was NOT a thing in the US although that they had hi-def broadcasts elsewhere). Hi-def wasn't the standard until the government mandated it. There are tells that this wasn't originally HD; the shadows and the way they skin looks TOO SMOOTH at times are clear indications of upscale. Upscaled live-action from tape generally doesn't look that good...

Jim Breuer was sadly known as a 2 trick pony. His pesci is the best in the business. But pesci has been retired as an actor for years and did Irishman and that's it. His goat boy is funny too, or his drunk guy/stoned character. But that's it. If you actually follow his early stand up career he's very funny. He got popular by having a guest spot with Dave chappelle on the show home improvement with Tim Allen. So much so that ppl would write to the networks they wanted to see more of these guys. We now know they cut Jim from the show and it was a failed show called "buddies" with a 19-20 year old Dave chappelle.
