Why can't we use the convex mirror in torch lights as that too acts as a diverging mirror

Hey @ ishakawade9100, I want to answer your question in a way that I feel is correct! You know that any object (concave mirror) placed at the Focus produces an image at infinity; thus, a far-spread reach of light is provided. Also, unlike convex mirrors, these have a parallel form of divergence from the focus helping with a steady or one-directional spread of light. Hope that answers your question, although old.
