The new side definitely lifts the entire cheek bone and it looks so much more natural. I honestly prefer the more natural look and as we are starting to age somewhat we see the creases and slight wrinkles around the eyes. I have started to see the old way as a very heavy and ‘cakey’ looking makeup look because my skin is no longer as smooth and young as I was when I started doing it. More videos like this would be great! Also, anything to slim the face more without making more makeup so caked on would be wonderful.

AS A AMUA MYSELF, I believe utilizing both techniques where appropriate would work best of all! First, use the "OLD" technique, only for color correction, but next, use the "NEWER" technique for concealer. To finish up, I would use a highlighting pen to create the illusion of lift with light. Lastly, I would add more colors of blush. If you are exposed to sunlight your cheeks will be pinkish on their highest point, rather than flat color in all the same tone. Adding a soft pink on the highest point of the cheek bones will add the dimension desired.
