Such a sweet video. That cat is the best! It's so cute how Azalea can pick it up, put it anywhere she wants and the cat just lets her do it. Plus actually stays put. Absolutely adorable. Those two are obviously best buds. Y'all will have so many fun memories in that van. Every child should grow up in a family with such stability and love.

You may want to consider some ventilation so that the heat that the refrigerator sheds to cool the interior can escape that enclosure, or it'll lose efficiency because the heat will linger around the fridge, and try to sink back in through the sides. If you have a small computer fan set up high behind the backs of the drawers, the warm air could be discretely vented into the van door area.

That cat really must love the attention🤔 I remember when I got my 1st cat… I was around 5 and it was a “just weaned chocolate tipped Himalayan kitten “ it let me do almost anything with it … I would: put it in the dolly seat of my fisher price shopping cart, dance with it, watch my 2 gold fish, or snuggle and listen to music.

@@BeccaBullard8 It absolutely is. My grandson (just under 2) is currently living with 3 kittens their cat had about 4 months ago. All 4 of them play together like siblings - which, in a way, I suppose they are (in the sense that their first explorations of the world were done together). Their current favourite toy (both the kittens and tiny human) is the small plastic slide my son bought recently. It's a joy to watch!

We lived in our 40' Diesel pusher RV for 5 years. Most fun ever! Love your conversion and cabinetry ... but you MUST have external latches on ALL of those drawers and cabinets! Especially the cooler. You are creating an efficiency apartment that lives thru an earthquake every time you head down the road. Look for latches and other hardware on Amazon ... plenty there! Think boat hardware.

Such a patient, good kitty! Azalea is great helper in the shop. The van is looking great! So many wonderful details, but I give those drawer pulls and other handles one good camping trip before you change them out for rounded knobs flat leather loops. Our apartment has that kind of handle throughout and they are a menace in tight spaces.

Idk if Ellie has looked in to it (just may have been a moment that Azalea wanted up, too) but there are baby wraps and slings that help with baby wearing an infant and a toddler. It’ll help save her back, hips, and knees in her 40s, by properly distributing the weight of two kids and not have her gait be imbalanced, or have her back crooked over like that. I made that mistake haha. Cutest video. I love that they’re passing on working outside with family to the new generation. 💖

An idea for the cooler cabinet is use a hook latch. Super simple.

Garren, it looks like you are glueing the slots for the drawer bottom. You should let the bottom float. As it expands and contracts with heat and humidity, it can push your sides apart and wreck your drawer. Make sure you cut the drawer bottom ⅛” smaller than the gap width giving you 1/16” play all around.

Coming from experience with campers, if you haven't yet, yall are going to want to put clips on the drawers above the fridge and on any other doors/drawers. Anything with a hinge or that slides will open during travel and could lead to messes.

The problem is all great-great-grandchildren are over 1 hr drive or more so I never see them here in my nursing home. The grandkids are missing out the love of great-grandparents.
