I had my miscarriage back in March of 2023. This was our first pregnancy. My husband and I were so excited, we told our whole family and friends, picked out baby names, all the fun and exciting things you do when you find out you are pregnant. My first appointment was at 12 weeks where we found out the baby had stopped growing but my body just hadn’t figured it out yet. I ended up having my miscarriage at almost 13 weeks pregnant. It was the most emotional thing I’ve ever been through..knowing you had created life with so much love and it was so easily taken away. I just now found out (June 2023) that I am pregnant again. I am excited but I have doubts that it will not work out and I will miscarry again. I don’t know if anyone else feels like this but my miscarriage at almost 13 weeks felt like forever. I am trying to be optimistic but it’s harder to be excited for this pregnancy because of my previous miscarriage. I don’t want to be worried but it’s hard not to be. Anyone else felt this way?

Yes I can relate sending you prayers 🙏 God knows why things happen the way they do. I just had my first miscarriage today. I was suppose to be 12 weeks tomorrow, I went to the doctor yesterday for sonogram and was told the same thing as you. Baby stopped growing and there was no cardiac activity. I sit here and ask myself why? Is it something I did? I know we will never have an answer as to why. But the lord knows. But keep in mind you have a new blessing a new opportunity to become a mom. Yes it is hard to not think about the last pregnancy but don’t let that affect you with this one pray to god to give you the strength to pull forward. You are blessed to have another chance. 🙏🥰

@@hamnaasim8341 I’ve had 2 surgeries 1 to unblock my right Fallopian tube & the other was Hystoscopy or whatever it was called something like that checking things from belly button .. 3 or so years ago I did have a spot on my cervix it could have been cancerous but, thank the heavens it wasn’t YaY! My ol man went to a fertility dr and was told he has Azoospermia ! I been praying 🤲🏼 and hoping on a miracle like him butttttttt, nothing and we don’t know what to do we didn’t want to really have to go donor route but, if he has zero sperm & can’t get it back which he took fertility medicine for over a year all his blood results are normal been normal in fact a lot of things became higher after taking the medication.. sooooo, we still don’t know what to do at this point get a donor keep wishing upon a miracle !? Idk 🤷‍♀️😭

@@darlingrodriguez5718 thank you 💜 Honestly my doctor told me to wait 6 months but I thought that was too long and I just really wanted a bby. So I did ALOT of research while I was going thru my miscarriage. I tried getting pregnant right after my miscarriage since I heard ur more fertile but it didn't work for me.what I did learn was It takes about 3 months for a woman to improve her egg quality (which could be 1 of many reasons for miscarriage) so made deal with myself I would at least wait 3 cycles/months before I try again. During that time I ate healthy, took supplements in homemade green smoothies, took folate, continued with prenatals. Started trying in November thought I got pregnant cause I missed my period in December even went to doctor but it came 3 weeks late (which was the longest in my life-very random cycle) but then got pregnant next cycle. Some things about this pregnancy so far are similar but some things are also different. So I'm PRAYING ALOT that this is my miracle 🌈 baby. Coincidently I was taking maca (natural supplement helps body to ovulate especially for those with irregular cycles) when I got pregnant the 1st time in the 1st month without trying and now in this pregnancy while ttc. I think that helped a lot and many ppl have had success with maca too...I know that was long but honestly hope that helps you. I'm so sorry you are going thru this its unfair and heartbreaking. What helped me was my husband and staying close to GOD, so dont lose hope and lean on your love ones. I will pray for your healing and your rainbow baby 💜

I feel so sorry for every woman that lost her child... I almost cried reading this but I stayed strong. I mean that I also know a person that just had pass through this situation. My aunt had breast cancer. Now she is absolutely healthy but she can’t have kids anymore. Even though she has a 4-year-old daughter she can’t really talk free about kids and babies anymore. We know that her husband also dreamed about a big family. One day they visited us and told that they were at the Ukrainian center for human reproduction a few weeks ago. They decided to use their help and got into the surrogacy program. We were absolutely surprised! But I believe that they are free to do everything they want. We supported them and I know that it was important for them. My aunt shared that the program in Kiev wasn’t so cheap - like 30K Euro. But it is all-inclusive so there will be no extra expenses. I found this Ukrainian clinic on the internet and I like that they have an impressive reputation. Hope that the end of this journey also will be great.

Finding a way to honor your pregnancy or your baby through ritual or event is often a lovely way of incorporating that being into your life as you move forward. And finally, find others who have experienced something similar. As mentioned so many times, community is imperative and I am certain that there are others out there who can offer you the kind of solace, strength, and integrity that you will need as you continue to heal.
