Let farm Stormhield and this Barb will be unbreakable 👊 Or spirit ward, that gives you Fade and you will have no problems with resists and it give you some DR.

i am using stormshield to reach the 50% damage reduction cap. but, your hint at the spirit ward for fade to gain more resistances is a nice idea. to reach the 50% damage reduction cap i must substitute arreat for crown of the ages double ber'ed. 31% by coa + 8% by eni + 8% by ward + 10% by crainte vomir = 57%. OR i use coa clean = 15% + verdungo = 15% + crainte vomir = 10% + eni = 8% + ward = 8% = 56% and have 2 free sockets in coa for other insert of runes/jewels. then i need 25% ias for 75% ias cap for legendsword. 50% by legendsword + 2x 15% ias jewels in coa = 80%. and you have a free socket in ward. you can socket ward with a 9dex + mod jewel. you will loose 11dex (block chance reduction) + 20% attack rating from arreat + 3 skills to concentrate but on the other hand you will gain more resistances. but the big problem is the str requirement of 185 for ward. barb base str is 30 with torch+anni = 70 + eni = ~70 + dracul = 15 = ~155, still missing 30str. you can get them from the inventory or boots, but in both cases you will lose much block chance. you even lose 30 faster hit recovery by substituting shadow dancers. stormshield or ward? what is more effective? hmmm
