Good question, Proposal of warehouse protection contains many things. Moreover Concept Rack storage sprinkler are kind of addition sprinklers caused by obstruction In accordance fire protection handbook (you can imagine additional sprinkler provided under duct width exceeded 1.2 meter)

Tq for yr question brother.NFPA 13 didn’t restrict minimum height; you can provide 3 m ceiling height also;technically nothing wrong but cost optimization wise it will increase the budget due the pump capacity.However decision of providing ESFR sprinkler subject some other factors also like commodify classification, storage arrangements etc...

Bro that 3 m I have mentioned indicative only (example purpose) don’t stick with the value.Finally your question is “how to choose the type of sprinkler for warehouse protection” in order to get the answer for these question you need fill some checklist it contains ; 1.commodity classification 2.storage arrangement ( rack or non rack)3.packing methods 4.ceiling height 5.storage height 6. Clearance from storage to ceiling etc.. In addition there are 3 type of sprinklers available for warehouse protection 1. CMDA (control mode design area) 2.CMSA (Control mode specific application)3.ESFR (.
