Gravitational force acts equally on all objects of any mass. When 2 objects do free fall then the object with less mass faces a lot of air resistance than that of object with heavy mass as a result the object with less air resistance or with more mass falls faster than tha other. However if this is done in a vaccum than both object will fall with same speed.

What about the inertia? Heavy body has more inertia and light body has less inertia. So the force needed to accelerate them to keep them falling at a constant acceleration is different. So they should touch the ground simultaneously, but actually it is not so. I cannot find a correct explanation

air resistance does not depend on mass but surface area but heavier objects tend to resist the air resistance better than lighter objects. when dropped separately effect of air resistance is more on paper. Inertia at work what Im able to understand.

This I due to the air resistance which the air is applying below the paper, that's because the paper falls a bit later than the registerer, not because of the heavier weight of the registerer. If we try the same activity in a room which has no air (vacuum), both object will fall at the same time

Paper falls after the register because of air resistance. It can't oppose the air resistance as much as register. But when it is put at top of the register, it couldn't be affected by air. Air only resisted the register, but couldn't resist the paper.

Therefore, it is the combination of Bernoulli's principle and the atmospheric pressure that explains why the paper remains attached to the book. its simple physics the factor on which item will fall first and reach the ground first is not determined bye the weight persay but the air resistance applied on both objects so when the book and paper were dropped separately the mass of paper is less than the mass of the book due to which the air resistance applied on the paper is higher than the air resistance applied on the book but when the paper is on top of the book air resistance is applied on the book not on the paper due to which the paper doesnt fly.. A similar experiment was done on a youtube channel where a feather and ball were dropped in a normal room and vaccume room where it could be noticed that in the normal room since air is present sir resistance is applied both on the feather and the ball but since the balls mass is higher the effect of the resistance was less so the fell first but in the vaccume since there was no resistance both fell at the same time the same concept applies here aswell... acceleration due to gravity of earth is same on every object ie-9.8m/s so the variation does not occur because of weight but because the different effect of air resistance on both objects note air resistance is inversely proportional to the mass therefore more mass less resistance so resistance is the main factor which determines which object falls first not the weight. by a 10th std student like if u understood

This because the surface area of the paper. Air resistance is inversely proportional to surface area.So ,here surface area of paper is less than the book. Hence the book gets less air resistance during the free fall and the paper gets higher air resistance, so the paper has an extra air friction, opposite to its motion and the book does not get the air friction more than the paper, so it falls faster than the paper. The force (gravity, F= mg) pulling each object downward is proportional to their mass, so each will initially accelerate at the same rate. However, the opposing force of air resistance proportional to the force of gravity is much larger on the paper and will cause the paper to accelerate more slowly. But when we keep the paper on top of the notebook and then drop both of them will drop at the same speed as the air resistance will be less for the paper and thus it will reach with the same speed with that of the notebook

High Resistance from air particles makes lighter object fall slowly. Low resistance from air particles makes heavier object fall instantly. Above all in this case lighter paper over register fall at same. ..because paper is in inertia of rest

Because register was facing all the air friction when paper was kept on it....Both were descending to the ground with same acceleration, g=9.8 m/s...hence paper was not facing any air friction and falling with the register.....

Because the air puts pressure on the pressure from down to up but when there is the book below the paper 📄 the air cannot put its pressure on the paper so that's why it happen. Weight of book > The Air Pressure. Weight of paper < The Air Pressure.

But sir...due to more mass of register upthrust (air resistance) is less effective...whereas dur to less mass of paper upthrust is more effective....this is the reason that both the things different time period when falling freely. In the case when paper is on the register then no upthrust is acting on the paper so both objects are falling as a single object.

It is a case of dropping of object in non uniform motion...object falling time depend on air resistance...paper didint face any resistance coz it was above book ..all resistance was faced by book soo both fall in same time..
