The child is father (teacher ) of the man. One thing I could not understand in Islam is that we are taught that our destiny is already predetermined. Later on I realized that if our Creator did not know our future then He will not be All-knowing. This is a crucial attribute of the Creator. Then I got the answer from my little granddaughter when she was still a toddler. The first thing she used to do when she came to my house was to run to the staircase and climbed up the stairs and I had to follow her lest she fell down the stairs. So as an elderly person I knew her habits. Then I realized that the fact that I knew what she was going to do does not mean that I instigated her to go up the staircase. So my knowledge did not have anything with her actions which were motivated by her own volition. Then I realized that similarly the Creator's knowledge is not the motivator of our actions. He has given us freewill yet He knows what we will do since He is all knowing. Just as I could have have penned down what my little granddaughter would do before she actually does it similarly the Almighty could get our destiny written down before we actually live it. So my granddaughter taught me one of the most complex mystery of life.

@@abubakar1nur813 We are not programmed because Allah Ta'ala has given us freewill. We can obey or disobey. It is up to us. There is no compulsion in religion. La iqraha fiddeen. “And proclaim, “The Truth is from your Lord”; so whoever wills may accept faith, and whoever wills may disbelieve - We have indeed prepared for the wrongdoers [Zalimin] a fire the walls of which will surround them; if they plead for water, their plea will be answered with water like molten metal which shall scald their faces; what an evil drink it is; and what an evil destination is hell!” (The Quran - 18:29) But Allah Ta'ala being all knowing knows which option we will choose. However His knowledge is not the motivator of our actions. We are responsible for our actions since we are not programmed like a robot which acts according to the program of its maker.

Free will DOESNT exist. At first zakir said, free will is ur capacity, then he said, u have the free will to rob or kill. Aint it mutually inclusive? U cant rob, even if u have the free will but NOT CAPACITY. U can only rob or kill, when u have d capacity and the free will as well. There is no FREE WILL, free will cant exist. We do things either bcoz WE WANT IT or WE ARE FORCED (by outside agent) and our WANTING is not controlled by freewill, we just want it or not want it. Man can do what he wills, but he cant will what he wills.

That's a wrong analogy because in this case the doctor is nothing but a mere observer and advisor, while in God's case, he is an active participant in my life, so basically i can eat junk food if i want the doctor can't stop me however I can't lift a g Finger without God's permission. So he wrote that I will eat this food tomorrow so no matter what I do I am bound to do what he has said, he also wrote all previous experiences that have brought me to like the food that I am going to eat tomorrow. So say God has written that I will stumble upon many Quran/hadith refutation and that God wrote that I will become an atheist then I will become an atheist no matter what. Also, God has already written what will happen to me before creating me: In sahih al Bukhari 3333 here the angel is asked whether the person he is creating will be wretched or not, meaning we have no free will since where we will end up is already predetermined. Sahih al Bukhari 6614, here Adam is arguing with Moses about how Adam is the reason we aren't in heaven, so if Adam a prophet couldn't decide his will how can we? And here is an analogy on how they can't co-exist: If I go to a friend's house and he offers me tea, water and coffee and God wrote on lawf al mahfouz that I will choose coffee, which one will I eventually choose? If I choose coffee then I do not have free will and if I choose anything other then coffee then God isn't all-knowing, so which one is it?

Not necessarily… the punishment of Hell was prescribed before man was sent to the worldly life to get tested. Thereby, the gun was always pointed toward a wall and was always meant to be fired at a certain date, but man essentially put himself between the gun and the wall to be shot through his disobedience of God. This is because he chose to be tested.

Allah said if you would only know fasting is the best for you, you would do it. When your parents say "if you know what's best for you" you know if you continue you'll get punished. Then why would go as far as to go against the will of your maker. Surely you are then disobedient.

I don't think the person asked the right question. The question of freewill has serious issues with determinism. So if God knows that I'm going to do X then off course i will do X and I do not have any choice which eliminates free will. Consider the 2nd case. if I have a choice to not do X then God's knowledge is not accurate because I can choose to not do X and that also cannot be true. Now think of 3rd possibility. God knows that if I do X then Y would be the consequence and if I don't do X then Z would be a consequence. This again has a problem because even though God knows X->Y and not doing X would result in Z but since I have a choice God's knowledge is not complete and only my decision will determine the outcome which is again wrong

@@MercedeX7 God knows what gonna happen if you do something and also knows what you gonna will. If you willed to eat ice-cream and ate that, God knew before He created the universe that you are going to will to eat an ice-cream. His knowledge didn't force you to think that way, instead He just knew it and it could happen just because God willed that too, if God willed that you wouldn't eat that ice-cream it won't happen, but in this case you willed to do something and God didn't so it didn't happen, if it would happen then the conclusion would be that creation is stronger than Creator as creation can eliminate God's will which is stupid. So again you had free will to do something but you were not able as God's Will is superior but if your will was inline with God's Will you could eat that ice-cream. There is no elimination of free will. God is not playing with you as a puppet(He gave you ability to choose something, but in action it depends on His Will whether you are going to be able to do that or not), instead He creates things as you are not able to create them

@@yesnomaybe1048 there are two hadiths for you 1. This life in this world is a prison for the righteous one 2. The loh (written will) contains everything for anyone that is going to happen until judgement day. 3. when asked by a Bidu if the bowl of water he is holding, is that in his taqdeer to which prophet said if he drinks it that will be his taqdeer or if he doesnt drink it tthat will be his taqdeer. you are simply stating your faith. I'm nit talking about faith. I'm talking about logic and reasoning. suppose you are someone that thinks and your thought is exactly what happens next. so if you thought something will not haopen, the person actual the agent will not take steps to make it happen. You can say that person had a choice but then tje options to choose to do otherwise were simply not chosen. Why? because choosing them would render you wrong. but then one can question and rightly so why he willfully chose wrong options to do exactly as you thought it to be. if God knows what is going to happen and exatly that happens then why there is no mention of what people are going to do in heaven and their complete routne? why it talks about Only until judgement day and nothing after? why this life is considered as imprisonment? there is also a hadith which is very dark (in the sense that it's meaning is bkeak) if the God has willed a peraon to be thrown in hell. no matter how righteous he has been his whole life, he starts doing things as the likes of people destined for hell until he dies and ia thrown into hell and if the God has willed for a person to go to heaven, deapite being doing evil all his life, near his death he starts doing good things, the likes of people destined for heaven until he dies and is sent to heaven. so much for the free will, you simply cannot do otherwise. look at the ice cream argument u put. this is nothing new. Him knowing what you do doesn’t mean your not the person making that choice. Let’s say I could read your mind, is that the same as controlling it? Even though I know what ur gonna do and what u think? If I went to the future and saw what you would do then came back and watch ur actions unfold, did I influence ur behaviour? U made that choice by ur own volition, Allah knows but he’s not controlling you
@thefinestmeme3317

@@optimuscrime1023 you missed the main point, because according to your belief, god made everything including you according to HIS WILL. According to you, even before creating anything, he knew everything that was going to happen to it and the choices it would make. According to you, even before your conception, you have been either damned to hell or sent to heaven. There is no choice because he created everything knowing the outcome before he even created it. I will respond to your examples. "Let’s say I could read your mind, is that the same as controlling it? Even though I know what ur gonna do and what u think?" Not only does he know exactly what he is thinking, he made us think this way because he has created us. Its similar to an author writing a story, while hes not controlling the character after he finishes writing, he still wrote the character and the character does not have free will. "If I went to the future and saw what you would do then came back and watch ur actions unfold, did I influence ur behaviour?" This example works except your god created the future, present, and past. Therefore he influenced EVERYTHING. Answer this question, and I will accept Islam.

But Muslims believe in Al-Qadr (Predestination). How can we have freewill if Allah already predestined/planned(Al-Qadr) our future? Basically, Allah knows what will happened in the future, and that means Allah knows which one of us will enter heaven or hell. Having freewill means that Allah will not know our future (what path we will take in life). If Allah doesn't know our future than Allah is not omniscient right? Because the concept of freewill is bigger than Allah, which I think is absurd of you're looking at it within Islamic literature/lens.

Pre- destination and free will are two contradictory ideologies. It’s either 1 or the other. And if you believe in predestination then you can not be held accountable for sinning, while if you believe in free will then you are held accountable for sinning because that’s your choice. And just because God allows gives each human being free will doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s not all knowing. The fact that he allows you to choice from wrong and right shows he’s love. Surprisingly the Islamic concept of God is all to do with power and not love

The problem in islam that they don't even allow themselves to read other spiritual books.. they truly believe that the quoran is perfect. Even though the quoran doesn't have any chronological order and the ultimate message is confusing The thing the is missing .. even is some call Christians is "Christ Consciousness " most people don't read their quoran or their new testament Islam is missing the Vishnu as the cosmic body (vishvarupa), the incarnate Krishna, and Krishna as paramatma, a Hindu equivalent of the Holy Spirit immanent and working in all things. In other words "thr holy spirit " Sanskrit is older than islam . The muslim need to study sufism .

A person went to a market and buy two chickens for dinner. When he returns home his kid requested his father not to kill those birds because he wants to pet them. Then his father told his boy, you can pet one chicken but another is our dinner. Now it’s up to the owner of those chickens to decide which one he will pet and which one he will kill. Chicken has no say on this, that why are you going to kill me and let the other chicken live. Like this Allah is our owner and our creator. It wouldn’t be unjust for him if he decides for us who will go to hell or haven. Sorry for my english I am not good at it.

I understood his explanation, in summary: There is free will to do what you want. Questions: If free will indeed exists in Islam because there is no compulsion in religion, then why is the death penalty still regarded, by many modern Muslim jurists (who can't claim not to know that verse of the Quran), as a crime punishable by death? And why are there other types of civil/criminal punishment given for it in many Muslim-majority countries? How is this is not contradictory? That explains why the guy was skeptical... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostasy_in_Islam

Thank you so much. The kadhaa and kadr it's a matter of belief that has no thing to do with our life science, however this belief in kadaa and kadar comes after establishing an origin belief which is believeing in Allah and in what Mohammad's message brought. Example: If I give you a showing proof that i can carry up 500kg, this fact makes you believe in my power. Now, what if someone told you that I could carry an elephant. Here surely you will believe in me basing on the origin belief with no need to a another proof (this's called rational proof). Results: The showing proof is the Quran which establishes the origin belief. when the origin belief is built, that leads to accept the second belief that has no need to any proofs. What the purpose of all that?. This's the sound belief that feeds our worshiping to Allah as like as we see him (IHSAN level) with trust, and that what makes the difference between the children of Adam who never seen or talked to Allah and the Angels who has already seen and talked to Allah. For that reason the Angels have been commanded to bow to Adam, and for that purpose exactly the satan has taken us his enemy and we commanded as well in surat Alkahf to take him as our enemy). Final fruit: The real worshippers of Allah from the children of Adam are better than the Angels. Allah said to the Angels in the Quran in surat Albakara " I know what don't know" this's when the Angels didn't realize the wisdom of making Adam and his children as khaleefa in the earth as a test for them where Allah gave them the free will to do what they want (obeying Allah or Obeying the Satan). However the Angels they're ordered to obey to Allah with no free will. Conclusion: Without understanding the whole story of pur creation and our purpose in this life we cannot absolutely realize the wisdom of believing in kadha an kadar.

The short answer is God is all knowing. But the Apple of knowledge meant we spent or life learning. So free will allows us to learn. and prayer gives us forgiveness of the mistake and the knowledge of learning from said mistake..but to force someone to do what you say doesn't allow for learning and forgiveness and knowledge..but it's not for a religious group to punish..god is love and teaching..allowing us to find the truth and right without punishment.why is it so hard for religion to say that..its amazing how far we've come in knowledge but our spirit is deprived of understanding ..predestination isn't in religion.. they are describing the action god will take..heaven or he'll isn't predestined..thats why Jesus came to explain..instead of the punishment from man for not believing as he insists..forgivness only needs to be ask for..not because God insists but because man believes he has the right to punish in the name of God

More Examples, a Hindu or Christian might allow their children to leave the religions n become an atheist or a different believer. But Islam doesn't allow that. Islam kills people if they teases your good or your text books in the name of blasphemy. Islam needs to change a little to co exist , then it will come out if the hatred it faces from the rest if the world.

This incident is mentioned in Surah Al-Kahf and Verse number 82 to 88 or so. The purpose was to make it clear to you that sun setting in the Mercury or muddy pool was an observation of Zulqarnain, not Allah Himself addressing that 'O mankind don't you see Sun sets in pool of Mercury'. Instead, in particular verses, Allah says, when he (Zulqarnain) reached at a strange place to help the people from mog magog, he observed the scene of the sunset. Zulqarnain saw the sun was setting like in the pool of muddy water or Mercury. Allah Almighty is describing what Zulqarnain observed there. Allah did not say what Zulqarnain observed was a fact and the sun actually sets into muddy pool. *Whenever, Allah addresses people in Quran, He uses the word O those who believe..., or Didn't disbelievers see...., or O Prophet say..., or O children of Israel... and then He conveys His message onward.*
