Although I couldn't crack UPSC and joined corporate world but seeing you after so long made me nostalgic about the memories and examples which you gave in next IAS. I was your student of 2018 morning batch. It's my humble request sir to post such videos on weekly basis. Even after 5 years, I really miss your lectures and feel that had I got a mentor like you in my early days, I would have done much better. Nevertheless, thank you for making me a good person. Sir i want to write an answer for 3rd question because 1st and 2nd question i will follow ur 5 points. Ethics seeks to promote: 1. Human well being 2.positive work culture 3.harmony in society Role of ethical values in resolution of conflicts: 1. Moral decision making 2. Objectivity : helps in handling the conflict in right way and being goal oriented 3. Non partisanship: resolving conflicts by not playing favourites 4. Empathy: helps not being selfish while resolving conflicts

As you said you'll go through the comments if we tried to give an insight on those question... 1-2014) Ethics promote brevity as a virtue in human life... Its important in public administration because, it makes ourself aware of every aspect by having the virtues as empathy, altruism, benevolence, etc ( all around it makes ourself more conscious about the quo warranto) 2-2016)Since, many scholar's,dictionaries haven't given a shrewd definition of ethics because ethics is something which is beneath an individual where we find moral identity.. And this identity makes us appealing in a way to channelize & build social relation.... Along with this human well being is defined by his/her character which he/she upholds in every situation.
