Against Me! have been my favorite band since I was 14 and Im 27 now... they are the 1 band that I can say that hasn't changed. I don't like anything now that I did at the age of 14 except well Anti Flag and AM!. Tom has the most amazing voice and his talent is endless. so I can't wait to see what comes when he is Laura. I'm actually happy for her bc now she gets to start living her life the way she always felt was right. I just hope her voice doesnt change. I'm a fan forever!!

Nickel3161... I agree when I was young and going to their shows hardly ANYONE would b there. That's what I miss most about seeing them live is getting to be amongst the few that knew who they were and just getting to listen and watch them. Getting to hang out w/ them after the show. Now everyone is a "fan" and have been since forever lol. I actually got them to come to lexington,ky to play a small show at the Arts Place. That's how small they were back then, & meeting them was great!

@RoleModelsXe If they put out an album covering Britney Spears I would throw away anything Against Me I own, I loved them for their politics, and Tom's amazing writing.

Well, Bruce Springstein actually personally complimented Tom on New Wave.

It's good, and I'm way pumped about his solo album, but there's something about this song that doesn't sit right with me. It might be that "don't spend your life paying rent to a slum-lord" is the climax. It's just kind of abrupt.

it's not about being a fan... but about liking or not the music. Covering britney spears may not be the best idea... well some stuff can be done i guess... it would just take an enourmous talent. Personnally, I don't like 'white crosses' as much as the others it sounds less like an AM! cd, it sounds too much like any other band. everybody would love to see a new reinventing axl rose, but it will never happen. at least, we can still hope for un unplegged cd, some day...
