@@Jaclynn9 Depends what you find chill, some of these could have stressful moments, overall I think they're chill. Terraria is great and easily provides hundreds or even thousands of hours of enjoyment. Minecraft of course. Don't Starve Together is a really good survival game, but could be stressful especially first learning the game. Portal 2 if you like puzzle solving, and you really have to work together here. Other good co-op puzzlers are Trine, The Cave, Ibb & Obb. Torchlight 2 is like a more cartoony and casual Diablo(also maybe Minecraft Dungeons but I haven't played it). Divinity Original Sin if you like RPG's, combat is turn-based, has unique co-op interactions. Borderlands if you like shooters with a bit of RPG mechanics, cartoony style, hilarious writing, really unique.

@@Jaclynn9 My wife really loves to tame the dinos and make all the baby dinos in Ark and I like to build so we enjoyed that. Also, other games we've enjoyed playing together are Sun Haven (Very similar to Stardew), Valheim, Raft, Core Keeper, and Dinkum(which is not really two player simultaneously, but you can visit each other's farms)

Stardew valley was so chill and always had something new for you to do. Seeing all the new stuff and the fact it seems this takes place in both the city and outdoors is super interesting! Not sure if it’s a shop management sort of thing or adventuring but either way it looks lovely! Best wishes!

in my experience, shop management games tend to have adventuring aspects (see Recettear: an item shop's tale). so i'm assuming there will be aspects of both! i'm super excited, as there arent any good modern shop management games and im sure concerned ape will make it magical !!

Same. I was just considering getting Stardew Valley. I probably will. Then I'll play this WITH Stardew Valley. Imo this and Stardew seem to me like Terraria/Minecraft, in the form of there is always something you can do that will never make you leave - there is a main quest but endless possibilities. Stardew looks phenomenal and this looks amazing too. The amount of passion ConcernedApe puts into these games is unrivalled imo. Excited to see more of this and then get the chance to play it :)

The "running a shop" part of this reminds me of Moonlighter. I really loved the concept in that game - so i bet this game will be amazing too - even better probably with all the added depth and love that will be put into this. Moonlighter felt a bit stale after seeing everything - the main fun imo came from exploring, upgrading and finding newer and better items to sell - in essence from the progression. It seems like progression also is a large source of fun for this game. I can't wait to explore, learn more recipies, decorate and upgrade my shop. Like Moonlighter, I am sure I will have an amzing time. Only time can tell what other cool things, what kind of "spice" Concerned Apes will add to the genre - but if Stardew Valley is any indication - I am sure this game will not feel stale, even after seeing everything it has to offer.

I really hope Eric keeps the always winter environment of the main area. While I love the changing seasons of Stardew Valley, the dark and snowy seclusion of the town is absolutely my jam, and having it always be winter would be a good reason to have it be necessary to enter the other world to search for materials to cook and sell.
