Hey Jess! Love your videos but honestly I find it kind of weird and honestly concerning that Kyson and Kaden are on a list of "attractive children". Yes they're cute kids. But kids shouldn't be "attractive". No article written by an adult should be calling a child attractive. Especially how everyone is just learning about it, that's kind of creepy. You didn't even know about it. A stranger writing random articles about children being "attractive" is the weirdest behavior. Saying this with all love ❤

Jess, you can go to any Sephora and they have a device that will find you the perfect foundation shade for your skin. Also, they will give you samples of multiple foundations that you can try at home and decide which one you like the best. Because depending on the level of coverage and the finish that you prefer, there are so many different options. But that is definitely where I’d recommend getting started. And a primer and finishing spray or finishing powder will make your foundation last longer and apply more smoothly. But there are some foundations that work just as well sans a primer and finishing spray/powder as they work with those additional products.

I work at Ulta and I feel like your best option is to go to either Ulta or Sephora for some recommendations, so you can also test the makeup on your skin and see how it feels/looks! How are you prepping your skin before makeup? I highly recommend to use at least a moisturizer and spf before applying your foundation, especially with you being super dry and with it being winter will dry you out even more. I like to use a hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, and spf to make sure my skin is hydrated before I apply my foundation. A primer could be helpful with your foundation to stop creasing and the Bobbi Brown face base is a primer/moisturizer in one which sounds like would be perfect for you!! And for foundation, my holy grail is the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation. It’s super light weight, hydrating, and has a ton of skin care ingredients in it. Setting spray is also helpful if you don’t use it and my favorite is the Urban Decay All Nighter! Sorry that this is super long but I hope this helps at least a little bit!! 😊❤

Invest in a gooooood skincare routine. Find the right acids that work for you. I suggest you see a dermatologist to get the right direction. Good skin > Good makeup.

MERIT BEAUTY makeup is the only makeup I will ever buy now that I'm getting older. It is very minimalist, and doesn't settle in the wrinkles. It also does not dry out the skin nor cause breakouts (I'm prone to both)! It adds a "healthy" "natural" "glow from within". I have no complaints about it! And their brush (there's only one because it's minimal) for applying the foundation, blush, bronzer, and highlighter is AMAZING! Also, it's not helping your face, wrinkle-wise, to scrub so hard! Girl! Go get a gentle cleanser, like Cedaphil or CeraVe! It removes makeup. You don't need to tug and pull so aggressively on your face with wipes! I can't bare to watch when you do that, lol!

Makeup tips: first of all your foundation is too light and matt. If you can't figure out what colour you are match it with your neck, or ask the people working what foundations they have that would be a good match for you. Since you already have dry skin don't get matte finish foundation, get hydrating ones instead, and light coverage foundations would do you much good, especially day to day. For the streaks that appear, seems like you need primer. The ones from Fenty Beauty are really lightweight and just feels like moisturiser. Fenty foundations are also really good if I were to guess I'd guess you're 150, 160 or 170 in their foundations, and then use a small amount of concealer under your eyes and in the middle of your forehead, right above your nose. You could go with a light one, like you have (110 or 120) if you bronze/contour using a darker foundation. Don't worry about the acne it's gonna be there wether you cover it up or not.

There are some primers that are more like a thin lotion/ moisturizer. Typically, from what I've heard and have since started doing is when I use it, I'll let it sit in before moving on to foundation. If you do your makeup shortly after your morning skin routine, you might not need the primer to help. With concealer and foundation, I would go something dewy as it'll hold more moisture. If you start out with a smaller application and build up a little bit, it will also help prevent excess product on the skin. Start with foundation, and after going in with concealer or a little more foundation where you need the extra coverage, it will help lessen the product sitting on the skin and will hopefully help with creasing. I'm 23, and I already have under eye wrinkles due to chronic insomnia and over expression. I feel the struggle.
@BaByGaL1872 жыл бұрын
JESS! You gotta get a good light primer that works with your foundation. I can't stress that enough. I like to go with a good matte, skin blurring primer and a full coverage powder. Set with setting spray. If I want color correction, I go with the cream pallet. If I want to glam it up? Primer, color correction, foundation, setting spray. Finding the right products will equal using less products. Only using foundation, might accent the imperfections. I like Fit Me matte foundation by Maybelline. It's cheap, works for combination skin and works well with other products. They also have a regular dewy foundation for that glow look. When I'm being active outside with the kids. I have this tinted sunscreen made by a local company. That, set with powder, Mascara and I'm out! I do agree with going to Sephora, that's a good place to shop for cheap vs expensive products. But not all the best products have to be expensive. Go with what works for your skin. Hope that works!

Mac is very heavy feeling and will likely break you out. Born this way is great but very drying so probably not a good combo with your dry skin. Try Dior backstage face and body. It’s very light feeling, has good coverage, and great ingredients. Or for a more inexpensive option try the L’Oréal infallible or L’Oréal true match pro glow. A primer could help but with dry skin, a good moisturizer prior can be just as beneficial. I use Clinique moisture surge. Just make sure to allow time in between steps so the products can soak in. the biggest difference between an english accent and an aussie accent is how they handle their consonants and vowels. aussie accents tend to be rounder; like no turns into naur and its more of an O shape with your mouth like you're talking around the world. english accents are sharper and more crisp, they hit their plosives (like t and k) harder. so where an aussie accent's no is said like naur, an english accents no is said like naho (but with the h more silent)

I feel like it’s so weird to not like giving gifts I’ve never met someone who hated giving/receiving gifts. I think you might be thinking of gift giving all wrong possibly because you have the money to buy yourself pretty much anything you want whenever you want.

My husband is not a gift lover either. He doesn’t like people spending money on him and he would rather just buy what he needs(which isn’t much). He does buy me gifts but he doesn’t enjoy it at all and that is okay.

@@Sara00393 she’s said before though she hates giving gifts and receiving them. I don’t think she’s gotten Chris a single present for his birthday and when he bought her something she hated it. It’s just a weird stance to have on gifts.
