Speaking as one once ensnared and bound by the incompleteness and derailment of homosexuality, try and try as I have to get my head, heart, and spirit fully around - "I am a gay Christian." - I cannot. I cannot because it does not make sense. If, within the statement, one is saying, “I am a Christian that struggles with the temptation of same-sex attraction.” This makes sense and I understand. However, for a faithful follower of Christ Jesus to pronounce identity by first using ‘gay’ (based on one’s sexual orientation) then follow-up with ‘Christian’ - clearly, what is happening is a lack of conviction, practice, and concern of how one is being shaped and led by a wrong and deceiving spirit. If I were an individual self-identifying as a ‘gay Christian,’ I would at some point in all honesty and truth need to truly face myself and ask…”Which am I more? Am I more gay than a Christian?”

Exactly. The Lord has shown me that putting anything before Him is a form of idolatry. Whatever we use to fill in the blank of "I am a _____ Christian" is the name/nature of the idol. We must not fail to call sin sin while compassionately standing in prayer with those struggling in any area including homosexuality. Btw, and maybe I misunderstood your statement above, but each one of us are complete in Christ alone. Struggling with homosexuality does not make one incomplete in any way. We are made full in Him. I pray the Lord fill you with the fullness of His love in Christ. Amen.

Dr. Brown, love your ministry. Because I've been following your ministry recently, I discovered in one of your videos that you were part of the Brownsville Revival. I watched it and it's created in me a hunger to see revival. I've been researching the Laymen's Prayer Revival of 1859, the Welsh Revival of 1905, the Pentecostal Outpouring of 1906-08. The secret has always been much prayer and non-sectarianism; that God may be glorified and man brought down low. I would love to see some videos where you minister and pray for revival again. This is where we will see the change in our nation! Even better, to see your beloved countrymen, the Jews, return to Yeshua in an outpouring of the Spirit. I love you, brother!

Good commentary and analysis on the subject. It seems like they are trying to take a two-faced stance that is conformed to this world rather a clear stance on Jesus.
