It just sounds better with Dave Hollister singing with Blackstreet. Their voices sound great! Salute to Teddy Riley. My favorite producer!

Blackstreet is nothing without Teddy. It's great that Dave and Teddy got back together to form the new group Blackstreet 2. The new singers have been around Teddy for years and fit in well with what Blackstreet is known for. Shame Teddy does not have to rights to the Blackstreet trademark anymore after Chauncey took that away for himself. The other original members are part of Chaunceys' Blackstreet group. The hope now is that Teddy can produce a new album for Blackstreet 2 (BS2, need a better name but I can understand) and Guy. I've been rocking the old albums and Teddys' productions are amazing, at least we know which Blackstreet will survive.

Chauncey didn't do anything because Teddy wasn't tripping about the n group name or trademark. He's getting paid forever on copyrighted songs and production. They can only get performance fees. If he had fought Chauncey on this issue, I'd have lost a lot of respect for him. But guess can get greedy.

Dave Hollister (the guy who's in this video singing the first part of the verses) had nothing to do with this song. He was already gone when it was recorded. Eric, Chauncey, and Mark did and none of them are here. As you said, this is a GREAT cover but a cover nonetheless.

UYeah Chauncey doesn't allow them to sing many of the songs eventho he wrote NONE and the other guys did. Chauncey is why everybody quit. They wanted to do a real reunion but Chauncey wouldn't allow for the use of the name. They gave him writing credits tho he (in the words of Dave) ain't wrote ainnnnn song lol. This is why they didn't perform at that lifetime achievement thing for Teddy. They were there but Chauncey's lil percentage didn't allow it so they watched him perform with Guy, Bobby Brown etc but didn't mention BlackStreet. Sooooo yeah, Chauncey's fault
