Double Wow. I had only seen a very small part of this. Concert Junkie, you are the best. Thank you so much. During this time Hillary and Holly were still recovering from their car accident. It’s chilling to think that in a few years , Hank’s youngest daughter would die in a car accident. At about the same time, I lost my oldest son unexpectedly. Time just moves on.

Hanks not the greatest musician but that their acoustic guitar he has and his voice is all you need to teach your self to play and sing. That's how you do it. The hard part is getting a good band that you can RELY on with everyone thinking in the same direction and that is very hard to do. Of course Hank Jr was over stage fright and all of that shit and knew a lot of great musicians. Had a great manager to help him get over the hump of club work and small theatres, or an opening act. Merle Kilgore and then the Rowdy album came out well produced and blam Instant superstar.

Not a great musician? He wrote almost every hit he ever had, he wrote like 90 percent of his songs lol he created the bama band, their words not mine. I think your trying to discredit him for some unknown reason and not for sure why. He is an extremely important figure in music history.
