Hi! In a nutshell you could start a private business (LLCS/ S-Corp etc.) that provides services to a particular target population (i.e. geriatrics, adoption procedures, addiction etc.) and create a marketing plan to provide services directly to those populations either via private pay or by getting an insurance contract as a targeted case management or peer support provider. Depending on your payer source, you would then build a business plan to provide continued services.

Hey! Great question. Nope. Not at all. With that said if you are attempting to bill public or private insurance for targeted case management services, you may need to be licensed or have a licensed supervisor, depending on the payer. If this is private pay or contracted on behalf of an organization, you do not need to be licensed.
