Absolute truth. To this day I still have trouble convincing those kinds of people that it was so much more than what you saw on the surface. Paul Verhoven was such an amazing director in those days. And it's no secret now that the cast and crew were utterly miserable while filming it, but the end result speaks for itself. Often you get the most creative work out of adversity and hardship.

This version and orchestration is wonderful! Robocop is one of the greatest film scores from the 80s.

Man this gives me goosebumps and raises my hair on my body every time I hear the robocop theme. It was one of the best scores of its time.
