Honestly I have a soft spot for decks with huge wild card factors in them. It's a reason why playing random spell mage in the past was so fun. There's just this different feeling playing decks like this compared to the more consistent-linear strategies.

Imo, i think same goes for highlander decks. You need the most value possible while also trying to stay alive and draw your best synergies. You cannot rely on your one win con and you need to put at least three into your deck just in case.

17:00 Wonder why they didn't just give all the classes their own corpse pile, rather than hard coding it so only DK can get corpse synergy cards. Could even be used as a way to stealth nerf res priest shenanigans by applying the same no refund rules applied to risen cards to any minion priest ressurects. Would even nerf this new infinite shadow priest deck.

I think its because the 3 options would be: have the other classes always collect corpses and have a counter for a mechanic they don't have normally (would make many players wonder why the counter is there) have them count corpses but have the counter not be visible unless you have a corpse card (would likely confuse many players as to why the counter starts at a seemingly random number) have it only appear and start counting once you get a corpse card (would make most corpse cards incredibly weak to get, resulting in dead discover options) in the end it was just easier to blacklist them from other classes

@@BushSage rogue can also discover cards that interact with overloaded mana crystals, restoring health on your turn, specific minions that died during the game, drawing specific cards, specific spell schools, all mechanics rogue has no access to normally, its fundamentally different than the corpse counter because you cam technically activate all of the above if you steal the correct cards but still the "indirect rogue nerf" doesn't make sense as an argument

@@rajkanishu what do you mean? Sure its a small issue and in 9/10 matches it wont matter, but its still possible to get those useless cards. And yes, the main difference is corpse cards, Rogue can never make use of, while if a rogue steals enough crap, it might eventually get overload synergy, rez synergy, e.t.c. Just because its uncommon doesn't mean Rogue's or Priests that steal Corpse cards shouldn't get a Corpse meter.

The main issue i think it's the secrets aren't that strong, we lack some of the older strong secrets like the one that transform your minion or draw 2 when opponent cast a spell, maybe the next expansions will make the secret package kinda good again

This deck hasil potential but felt like an auto lose against aggro with 3 mana "half of the time do nothing". Feels like the deck still need a bit of early tempo and or healing/armor to contest/defend in the early game.

hear me out. putting in infectious ghoul in those final 2 slots. i really don't think that card as as bad as it seems. and imo it literally does exactly the same thing halkias does but with minions which is a hella lot easier to make happen, especially since concoctions can summon minions.

They're a new "quality" type, so we have normal, gold, diamond (which look glassy and white, and have extra animations), and then the extremely grayed out ones. Those ones are supposed to have different art styles depending on the expansion, so they went with a sort of "ice gray" thing for the frozen expansion, though I'll admit I don't think it's good art work. As for diamonds (which typically are the more animated ones) usually either they're part of the rewards track or something you have to buy special.

The good news is that, since they deal symmetrical damage with their thing, if you can get ahead of them on board you can basically force them to abandon the combo or burn themselves to death. It is kind of ridiculous, but unlike some crazy win combos, at least what you do during the game can interfere with their plan and such.

I feel Noxious Infiltrator needs a bit of a nerf as well... it has a requirement, true, but it is so darn easy to accomplish it as it just needs an undead to die after your last turn (not even JUST the turn you want to play the card) to become an Assassinate, and it still leaves a 2/5 body with Poison ready to murder stuff afterwards... all for 4 mana...

I love how Trump is mocking the opponent for not making a creative deck, but his deck consists of cards that just generate random cards, and he has to pretend that value generation, and mana efficiency is a win condition.
