They don't have to look rich, clean or like they serve god or anything, they just need to be appealing in some way. These characters are straight up trash. They're objectively badly designed. They look like the ideas behind them were designed by a 7 year old and then were recreated by someone who gives zero fucks about the outcome. The realistic graphics and artstyle don't help that at all, in fact, they make it worse. If it at least had a more cartoonish and stylized art direction, it could at least be servicable, but it doesn't, so... In short, they look like garbage, and them being "pirates" or whatever doesn't excuse that.

The characters killed the game, but the maps still suck big time, visually I never played it lol. Why are games that rely on you playing the same 10 maps for 5 years, not making those maps beautiful? @@dgayle2348 Absolutely not. Not a single one of those options sounds "Appealing" which is what I was hinting towards entertainment 101. It's not just a pretty face, it's a pretty body. It's an appealing fit. It's an attractive demeanor. It's a "Cool" person. A character you'd want to be, or be around. That's what I'd spend my money playing as or watching on the big screen. Think of all the iconic and memorable fictional characters people idolize. Why isn't Storm a fat black woman? Why isn't wonder woman a Geriatric Asian woman? Why isn't Starfire an ugly alien with rainbow hair? Cause if they were, they'd be forgotten in a week much like this game. It's not rocket science. Now if instead the jumbo woman was a cook at some soul food, then by all means take my money. But for a game company to needlessly and deliberately choose to go this route is why it's failing so hard.

I appreciate Falcon making this Before you buy, even with how much negativity this game is surrounded with, he still tries to find some positives this game does have, they are just buried under all the negative aspects and especially the 40€ price point. If this game was f2p i would atleast give it a try, but with games like OW2 being f2p and with all those upcoming f2p hero shooters, this game is simply not appealing.
