Herbal Club, Kingsland Road, London 2003. Friction followed by Andy C. Spor's in the crowd, I congratulated him on his first vinyl release. Smoked a j with the coolest Chinese guy at the back of the main room. Andy comes on, Friction pops up bubbling in the crowd and we exchange numbers. My little brother from another mother - now one of the biggest players in the whole scene - pulls me into the crowd as Andy comes on. Andy drops this tune. We had some times, man.
