As a woman, I found it weird there were no white guys either. If it was a game made in Africa or Asia, I would understand. But the skewed balance to black characters and the pronouns listed, just makes me think that making cool characters were the least of their concerns while creating this game.

Ive played thousands of hours in Destiny. This legit looks like destiny 2 reskined. Im not even joking. Legit looks like the game had new textures added on top of the existing code. The fire effects, the throwing knife, the camera, reloading. Something feels very familiar about this. Like a repurpposed game, that will be shoved full of microtransactions. The ADS, the models, the gun sway, the supers, are all ripped from destiny. This is a scam.

I wanted destiny PvP without needing to grind to make builds, why do weapons/abilities need to be tied to hero classes like Overwatch. Just let us customize our own "Free gunner" or whatever, with our own abilities, health sizes(changes how big you are, and weapon load out, etc.

I think the main problem isn't that its another 5v5 team based shooter (Which the whole genre was ruined by OW2 and many other games), I think it just has too many similarities to other things. World and character wise = Guardians of the Galaxy inspired, Gameplay = Overwatch + Destiny 2 Mechanics. I'm willing to give this a shot for the beta, since it looks well made. BUT, it has to prove it can hold its weight with a decent story mixed with gameplay ON RELEASE + FULLY FLEDGED OUT, and unique gameplay elements we aren't seeing right now with these initial cinematics and gameplay trailers. If its just Overwatch + guardian of the galaxy characters with cinematics here and there, put it back in the oven or try something else before this becomes yet another team based flop. (don't even THINK about requiring a psn account istg)

Look, destiny 1 was a smash hit on release, and with the majority of firewalk made up of destiny 1 devs, I can't see how this game will flop. It might get off to a rocky start, but I can see it having a cult follwing just like destiny 2. The fact these devs don't have Activision on their asses, might make the game alot more player friendly. I'm all for paid cosmetics once the core game isn't pay to win
