1 year to be fully operational, heck 2 weeks is the max here. It's just pumping concrete, a bachelor's degree isn't required. Just playing, I know you are wanting the best possible..

Even at full trades rates here in Vancouver, people are sacrificing for the mild weather (relatively speaking) and natural beauty. It definitely ain’t for everyone.

Every trainee we’ve had whom didn’t pan out we could have avoided by just checking references. We always seem to discover their many skeletons within the closet once it’s already too late 😂😂😂

$27 is way too low... for todays market and Vancouver where living expenses are high, why would do I this hard job when I can make the same doing a easier job, I reckon the pay needs to be higher for a incentive my thoughts

$27 per hour for is someone with zero prior experience. The rate for a fully trained line-pump operator is $42 per hour. Factoring in wages/benefits/overtime pay structure, we are one of the highest paying concrete pumping outfits in our area.

@@InvincibleAndroid Our wages here have increased 10-15 percent in the past 3 years. Aside from out of town/camp work, there not many other industries which where one can be making $100K+ per year within 12-24 months without having any related industry experience/schooling/credentials. I get the frustration with the cost of living l, but quite honestly don’t think there’s any one single industry or trade which factoring in inflation, is further ahead than they were 5 years ago… at least not in North America here.

Working in his class 3 drivers license so that he can train up in the boom pumps. We’ve got a nice little Schwing 4800 high rise pump for him to keep busy on as well. 😁😁😁

@@canadianconcretepumper1979 That’s awesome, good for him! It can be tough running a linepump every single day by yourself. I been running line pump for 5 years straight by myself. This coming fall I’ll switch to a boom. We are getting a brand new schwing 31xt. Can’t wait! 😊
