If you are cleaning up in the dark its a good idea to check things in the morning. That concrete could have been removed by a few taps with a hammer the next day maybe just water and a stiff brush. Also check around where you were working especially the outside of any forms.

How did you know that the tool you are using would break up the concrete and not damage the machine? When you clean it…do you use water to spray it out? TIA

That is why I use a needle scaler. it will take paint off, but not dent the metal. It will take paint off though.
