Concrete. The Boomer way.

✅My tribute to Boomer continues. In this video I use Golden Molding Paste to add texture to some styrene "concrete." And then I use the wet on wet painting technique. I hit a few bumps in the road, but overall I'm very pleased, and would recommend you give it a try.

Good stuff. It takes a few weeks for the acrylic to fully cure my friend. I don't sand it until then. Try sanding it a little after a few weeks with another light wash and it will "pop" more. Cheers. 😁

Great video, Bill! Really enjoyed watching you working with both textures! It makes me want to spend more time working on my N scale modules and a little less on the graffiti work. However, I do own a 37-piece set of Weathering Pencils for Modeling by AK Interactive. You may have seen me use them in my weathering videos. You can get crazy good results my adding a little water. Oh as a matter of fact I used one in this video to darken the expansion joints! Take care - Bill.
