Wikimedia: 'In 1974, Concubanas released their legendary debut album Rumba Del Sol (HDLR001) on their own label 'Hermanos de la Revolución'. The ongoing oil embargo and vinyl shortage meant that the band were able to press just a single copy, which was played once over Havana Radio. However bass guitarist Ernesto Ruiz was able to make a studio copy which subsequently saw informal distribution amongst fans of the band. The recording ultimately reached the ears of Fidel Castro himself, who famously remarked: ''Concastro is a band of musical revolutionaries who have achieved with their instruments what their brothers once achieved with their guns''. It is probably the rarest LP in the world, so rare that it does not even qualify for a Discogs entry.'
