I've seen like 20 benches cleared situations watching these Majors teams . Not one turned into bench clearing brawl or even a benches clear 2 guys fight lol. They ain't never gonna do sh**. Which is probably a good thing since most of them are 6'1-6'4 and 75% look like they're on some sort of PED's. Somebody would get hurt for sure if one of their wild overhand rights landed. You know it'd be nothing but wild overhand rights lol

As a slow pitch SB pitcher, I promise you the flailing and fake pumps from the pitcher do nothing. The ball comes so slowly it very easy to focus. I feel like the high level pitchers do it as more of a “look how wild I can be” thing. One of the pitchers on my old team has been working so hard on learning all the wild movements and it has done nothing for him but more walks

Even hitting the ball in slow pitch takes some skill even though the ball is coming in at an arc you can misjudge your swing and end up swinging to high or low

I never understood why pitchers in baseball or softball get mad when a ball comes back at them. You guys are just another fielder right when you let go of the ball. Alot of guys take it fine, but there's some that are absolute baby's.

Looks like they playing 80 foot! We normally play 70 and last weekend one field out of 3 they had them at 60 foot...no groundball outs where made! Players stopped even making the throw!

Yeah, because players can aim and there's usually a gap up the middle. That's why there's so much tension when people hit middle, because it's actually controlled and deliberate.

Agreed…the ball comes back so f’n fast it doesn’t take much to miss it and the damage it can cause can literally be fatal. Either an out or a single is fine with me if it hits the fence. I pitched for 15 years in slow pitch and I’ve had my share of comebacks that caused some serious pain. Guys like the guy who commented that you should be athletic enough to field the ball or avoid it don’t know shit. That’s like saying MLB pitchers who get hit with line drives aren’t athletic enough and they’re elite

I remember when they started using composite bats and the umpa lumpas starting hitting homeruns for the first time in their lives. I wish all league would go back to steel/single wall bats with a 47 core ball. That's when you didn't need a mask to pitch.

You probably want to search usssa.com slowpitch for tournaments in your area and go out and talk to some of the teams at the tournament and see if you could come out to one of their practices. Also find a local league to play in.

Damn... walk up on that pitch and hit it. Everyone feet planted like back in the baseball days. Start in the back of ths box walk up and swing the bat from higher position with a slight downward rotation of the bat but not quite a chop swing. The ball will have a slight backspin as it missile's into the trees. Baseball swings are boring and no chance to sizzle the ball. Big arms only work if you can use your legs too. Otherwise its popcorn
