Italian Milk Cake ( Torta Kinder Paradiso) in gr and cups:
2 Egg Yolks
4 Egg Whites
120 gr Sugar ( 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
110 gr Milk (7 tbsp)
100 gr All Purpose Flour ( 3/4 cup)
2 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tsp Baking Powder
45 gr Butter (3 tbsp)
1 tsp good Quality Vanilla
Pinch of Salt
Thick Milk Cream Layer:
350 gr COLD Heavy Cream ( 1 1/2 cups + 1 tbsp)
150 gr COLD Sweetened Condensed Milk ( 5.5 ounces)
1 tsp Vanilla
Pinch of Salt

Ooh my.., I am salivating for this cake. we are all connected in some-way with our ancestors, Emma. (Let me explain) and each time they pass down this type of recipe to a family member in some way. I’ve seen other versions of this recipe on several videos, but in different countries. And my great-grandmother taught me how to make this cake, but in my culture it’s call “3-Leche” which mean : “three cream milk” ... oh by the way., I am absolutely sure this cake taste delicious. Hi lovely! Yes u definitely can use cake flour! Just omit the cornstarch and substitute it with 2 extra tbsp cake flour 😘 Add some melted chocolate to your cream mixture!😍 Lots of love from Rome❤

She has some great recipes but the girlish way she speaks irks me. There have been a few recipes that I would have loved to watch but after few seconds of intro I just cannot stomach the cutesy, girlish spwaking turns me off. @@emmasgoodies is Tres Leches cake (before being soaked) more moist than normal sponge cakes? cuz your Tres Leches cake recipe has a more liquids (by%) compared to your other sponge cakes. Just curious hehe

If you watch the video, Emma talks about exactly this. She says it's normal for this to happen with cakes made this way. That's actually what you want for this cake - the layers are supposed to be thin.
