Condo Reno ✨Before & After✨

We did it!
I can’t believe we’re finally done! After 40+ days of working on this condo it’s finished (well sort of…watch the previous reel to see why).
Phew was it a journey. I learned so much about renovating - from electrical to plumbing to installing cabinets and flooring, I now have a better understanding of it all. I am incredibly grateful to my Dad for all of his hard work both physically and mentally, this was not an easy feat and there were so many times where we were just incredibly frustrated with each other so I’m glad we’re okay. And a huge shout out to my cousin who stepped in and stepped the F up! He saved our sanity many times!
I’ll have to save this for another post (like maybe “things about myself that I learned about myself from this renovation”) but my patience and frustration were tested to a much higher degree than I had anticipated. Everyone said it’s typical that a reno will take longer and cost more than you think but I had wildly unrealistic expectations when it came to time and money. The perfectionist in me had to die at some points because I needed to move on from a part of the project or I would have pulled my hair out or screamed or cried or vomited or all of the above (ahem…the flooring).
With all that being said, I am so incredibly happy with how everything turned out! Like it’s GORGEOUS! I didn’t realize how different it was until I compared the before and after photos. I’m grateful to be a homeowner and I’m grateful to absolutely love that I made my space, my home, my haven all my own.
