I just got mine last week. Yes the edge needed work. My Ken Onion Work Sharp, did the job nicely. And yes, I have the BK9. Blades are the same length. But the Moonshiner is pointier.

Good video. I appreciate your thoughts on this knife. I have been on the fence about purchasing for a while now and you have convinced me to add to my gear.

Tbh considering Condor is now charging a more premium price for their stuff - the edges should come a lot sharper across the range. Fit and finish on most of their stuff is OK but there is nearly always some imperfection. It could be a sheath that does not hold the knife secure, a blunt edge, mismatched or poorly ground scales or uneven blade grinds - there is always something. I say this as someone who owns more than 5 Condor blades. Be aware nothing will be perfect.

I wet the sheath at the opening , and inserted two mini flashlight tips into it to stretch it, let it dry . now my handle slides in much better ...try it guys .

Yep, I used Boiled Linseed Oil, to wet form the sheath for my Moonshiner. Now the inside is water proofed.
