Draw it up as high as possible to just under your arm pits, you want a chest rig, not a belly rig. Put IFAK on hip or belt (down low, off to the side) to make room for 4 single stack mag pouches (doubles are too bulky, makes you feel like a marshmellow man) across the front. Too much shit sticking too far out will make it very hard to get in or out of vehicles (you won't fit behind the steering wheel!) crawl under shit, or even try to lay flat/prone on the ground. 4 spare rifle mags and pistol mags (plus a smoke grenade 😆)are all you need to break contact in a bad situation, if you want to carry more, carry it in a small patrol/overnight pack with water & rations that you can drop or grab if needed easily.

Hey brother, a couple thoughts, 1st of all ( no knife is like not having a man card lol ) 2nd thing, I love tactical stuff, looks great, BUT , when putting a rig on in front of mirror always makes me wanna use my wife’s line , ( HONEY, DOES THIS MAKE ME LOOK FAT ?? ). GREAT VIDEO BROTHER !!!!

HI, is there a way that you could do a video on adjusting the straps? I bought the chest rig after watching your video and I can't get the straps where I want them. The shoulder straps feel a bit lose. I also have never used a chest rig. I've on used ALICE gear. Great video.
