I have a Condor backpack that has travelled with me and been used and abused on hiking adventures in the US, Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica and it has held up very well. Quality materials, excellent stitching, heavy duty zippers and the MOLLE webbing is spot on. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more Condor gear...good stuff!

I've been using Condor tactical gear for many years now, and I really like the stuff. Lasts long enough to pay for itself and when it needs replacing, its not that expensive to do. I use the Condor Tactical 3 Way Deployment Bag, every day and it holds up very well.

I have a tons of condor gear and everything is top notch. Even if you're like this guy who apparently doesn't like China made goods.Condor still has a selection of USA made gear. I compare it to many of my also awesome Black-hawk gear which is of course more expensive, yet the gear has little bits of stuff that other retailers do not have. With Black-hawk you get what you paid. With condor gear you get a lot more since the materials are of great quality and the prices a lot lower.

I have been very happy with Condor Gear, there are some guys who will sort of look down on it, but I really don't have to impress anyone but me. Never had any problems it worked as expected and has held up well because I've been working my stuff constantly: Crawling, busting brush, and doing some not so ordinary things. It's good stuff.

Good video! That's what kills me sometimes about the you Tube community, a lot of people are gear snobs. If it isn't the best of the best, it isn't any good and you are made out to be a fool for buying it. When a person is prepping and must budget their money between guns, ammo, gear, medical, food/water, etc. and only uses their gear occasionally to keep their skills refined, some of this gear (Condor) is just fine. Thanks again.

The Condor EMT Rip Away pouch is the best Medical pouch I have seen to date. I have a put them through everyday use for years and they hold up fine. I also like their hydration\canteen pack that is just a copy of the Maxpidition. I think most of their pouches are "good enough". Yes, you can tell they are not the same as the higher-end items, but they will hold up to what 90% of people are going to put it through. However, I do not feel the same about all their gear (like their plate carriers).

@xdejablu3x9 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind too that a lot of aftermarket companies use certain dyes in their fabric which are indeed IR reflective. That's another reason why Eagle Industries and some other high end issued military equipment cost more. I don't remember if it was Condor but it was reported that some of the other replica brands have a strong IR signature making them a glowing blob seen through night vision.
@undeadhunter59 жыл бұрын
+xdejablu3x Actually, eagle belts isn't that much more than condor. I can get a belt similar to this one for $35. Now the pouches are like $40.
@christopherricketson86919 жыл бұрын
+E. White I believe some of Eagle Industry gear is cheaper because not all of them are produced in the USA. Some are actually assembled in Central America. Regardless, there's a reason why service members use the original equipment rather than replicas. Now don't get me wrong, some of Condors gear is great for people who are not on deployments and what not. I've used some third party equipment while doing some time over there which held up pretty good but when it comes to my equipment and weapons, I use the real deal because you can't afford to cheap out on something that may get you killed.

There is literally tons of milsurp "battle belt" stuff. Eagle Industries padded war belt, made for the USMC are $20 on ebay brand new basically and made in USA, not chinese airsoft shit.
@kenparnell42978 жыл бұрын
I'm sure those are nice but they don't have all the features I'm looking for. That doesn't mean it's not perfect for you, it might very well be just right for you. Condor in made in China but most everything is these days, so I'm not so concerned about that as I am having something that I can get reasonable wear life out of and it has what I need it to have. Granted, I can buy a 511 battle belt and will discover that it doesn't have a drop leg platform section, or suspender loops. It's all about what you're looking for. I have even bought a cheaper version of a mesh vest to check it out and see what wanted to have in one. Trick was the one I bought thinking it might last long enough for me to evaluate it turned into six years of rugged service. I have bough some things from other manufacturers on the the cheap and I swear the stuff was falling apart when it arrived, and I had to get out the wife's sewing machine and repair it before I could even try it. Now just to give you a break down on the vests that I'm talking about, the mesh vest that lasted six years I replaced with another Condor vest and I still use it and it's doing great. I don't clean it, or wash it, I sweat like a saw-mill town whore on Saturday night and it's still rocks like nothing. The 511 mesh tactical vests are pretty much a hundred bucks and I have seen a couple sales priced ones for around eighty. I bought the replacement for thirty-six bucks and change, and the first one I managed to find on sale for twenty-five. Now the trick with 511, they tell you that human perspiration is a damaging fluid for nylon and a friend bought himself a 511 vest and it lasted seven years then literally started falling apart. So I'm thinking I'm way ahead of the game here on vests. And it's ok if you see it different, it ain't gonna hurt my feelings.

Condor has really stepped up their quality. I run a bunch of their pouches, never had any issues. It's evident that it's not as nice as my Eagle gear, but none of it is showing any signs of wearing out any time soon. I've seen a few designs from them that probably need work, but for the most part their stuff is great for the price.

About 1/3 of my gear is Condor, and (for the price) it can't be beat. I'm not traipsing around the sand box, but my Condor plate carrier/kangaroo pouches/hydro carrier/etc. have held up to moderate use over the past four years with no problems whatsoever.

Similar to your friend I used some Condor products over seas, but I had very mixed results. Some items held up well, while others blew out stitching or broke buckles. I ended up scrapping all my condor gear for high quality brands (and unfortunately higher price). I'm willing to pay more for peace of mind.... and a warranty doesn't hurt either. If you're looking for inexpensive, high quality, made in the US, and a good warranty, check out BDS Tactical.

I'm confused. I hear a lot of folk say that it's just mass produced in china but on their company website it says it's made in the U.S.A. Most of the stuff I wear is Condor, but that's because there's so much of it out there. The way I look at it though is that even though I play airsoft, if I had to make the choice, I'd still go with the kit I was issued with in the army if I could and I still had it (didn't want to be charged $3500 for not returning all my kit ;) However if I were a contractor, I'd probably go with a mix of Condor and other stuff from other companies that are more real world specific. As for the belt, I have the same one. The only quams I have about it are that the molle areas are split up into sections, with a space between each one (two side panels, one back panel). I would have preferred it just be one solid section that wraps completely around without any separation so I can put more of my gear onto it. If anyone were to ask me my former professional opinion on Condor, I would simply tell them "Hey, at least it isn't Blackhawk".
@ChieftainofTribe11 жыл бұрын
Condor is good for the money but as with any brand you'll find some items or gear aren't the best when it comes to stitching, this has only been a problem for me when I got a bad shotgun shell pouch. The problem was fixed very quickly tho.

I have that same belt as the chassis for a Condor LBE/"Smersh" setup. Sometimes the budget brands like Condor and Fox really are the best bang for your buck. Seems like the biggest criticism is people saying "it's airsoft gear", which in itself isn't that big of a concern. If I see people saying that it tears easily, or it falls apart during heavy use, then I would be concerned. Instead, people just say "it's airsoft gear". Because people use Tactical Tailor in airsoft events, does that make Tactical Tailor airsoft? I bought Condor gear when I was in the infantry. No chest rigs or battle belts, but replacement pouches and things like that. Since I used them in the Army, but not airsoft, I will call Condor combat gear, not airsoft gear.

I could had sworn that at least some of the Condor stuff was made in the USA. Anyway, I think the airsoft grade reputation comes from their early stuff. The quality of the stitching and whatnot was always good, but the nylon they used was far to thin. This made it unable to hold any significant weight without issue. I recently got a hold of some of their new stuff. It is much thicker; I would say twice as thick going by memory.
@learningtoprepper11 жыл бұрын
Do you have a problem with the tactical belt riding up and down inside the battle belt when running around? Also when you have it loaded down does it move around a lot or does it stay in place I have been experimenting with belts and not having much luck and looking at getting a custom on build but really don't have the funds but probably could of bought one already with what I have spent. Thanks and keep up the great work on videos.

Some of my gear has been run pretty damn hard for 5 years now in both training role and camping (mag pouches make excellent GP and multi-tool pockets) But what kills me is I'll hear the crap about it not being made in the USA from the guy who has foreign weapons (AK, Mosin, HK, SKS, Glock, etc, etc...) along with his foreign made or foreign mil-surp ammo say that with a straight face!
