This is a very good replica of the ATS Aegis V2 plate carrier. If you're not a true gunfighter who needs an affordable plate carrier I think this is a nice budget buy.

Couple things that set ours apart from the competitors. The main one is the inverse opening design for the front panel. You can use 2 hands to adjust your cummerbund quickly and then you're good to go.

Some of our other plate carriers you can use soft panel inconjunction, but not the VAS system unfortunately. The side plate pockets that you can purchase separately can be used with 6"x8" soft panel and hard plate inconjunction.

Pretty much a copy of Crye AVS system - with the modular front panel, modular cummerbund, all the velcro... Only thing it's missing is the zip on back panel... But it's going to be cheaper I guess. Oh well. Question: Will they be cross-compatible? It would seem so - both have spaces for those same buckles roughly the same distance apart, both have the velcro at the front, both have the cummerbund attachment system at the back...

Looking for some advice: I love the flexibility of the VAS, but I like the quick-release and the ability to host soft armor features of the Condor Enforcer. I have ceramic plates (front, back, and sides). I also have several extra soft vests that I could pull the panels out of and put into a carrier. I expect to use the carrier in two ways. First, I'm a certified constable (i.e. LE Agency of just one). For most routine constable duties, I want to be able to grab a soft-shelled carrier and go handle calls, where the threat level is expected to be low. I'm also a reserve county deputy, and have the opportunity, at times, to go out and perform perimeter security duties for higher-risk activities, in which I would want my plates. A couple of questions. First, is there any reason I would want both soft armor and ceramic plates worn at the same time (I'm trying to figure out whether I would wear both at the same time or if its an either/or plates vs soft armor)? Second, do you have any advice on how necessary the quick release feature is or examples of when I would want to use this feature (falling into a swimming pool? I've been shot and someone is dragging me away?). Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately they do not, you would have to swap out the buckles to ITW.
