1 of the reasons tab targeting Lashing Flames felt bad was the melee range. Sometimes when you press tab to target the next enemy it targets one just out of melee range depending on where the tank is and where you are standing or if they start casting and the tank moves etc. Chain lightning will always be able to hit whoever you target.

I just don't play enhancement. So I don't have to do it at all. I just play a superior melee spec that is better designed. Enhancement is a disaster of a design.

@@TheRandomDude-qy1ev shaman in general is in a bad place. The least being resto and even that has design flaws that are quite noticeable. I’m not talking strengths and weaknesses but core design issues. I played both enhancement and elemental since TBC. It would be nice if they listened to their community about shaman because they aren’t doing it justice. Also, why can’t we have 2 handed enhancement if frost dk can play both styles or if monk can play duel wield vs 2h. They make excuses all the time in the design department but other classes get to have cool and shiny things. The talk of defensive creep and they still giving mages more while we suffer. I’m going to keep my shaman maintained but I’m probably going evoker because all specs and hero trees feel really good.

On my ele shaman, lightning rod spread automatically. Maybe It is overload doing it, but it never refreshes it on the main target unless it falls off

I preffet tab targeting on storm build than tab targeting on elementalist, and finally we are not forced to use that garbage primordial wave🎉🎉🎉🎉 not get me wrong i like the haste buff, but whole interactions with flame shock spread and after that to waste GCD on lighting bolt to get the buff was pain in the ass on tyra weeks with big pulls😂

Lava Eruption isn't an Enhance ability... I'm assuming you mean Lava Lash? Or Fire Nova? And yes, we do not run either of those abilities in this build.

Rod is just bugged rn, doesnt do as much damage as it states (20% of Chain lightning/Lightning bolt dmg)

Lashing flames become a problem when there are more than 6 targets and you can tab target a non flame shock mob. Let lashing flames debuff spread from crash lightning cleave ty shaman devs

Purely hypothetical. I am not in Beta and am only using perceived logic here. You get 10 points for the bottom third of spec trees so we have to weigh those talents carefully. I feel the point in Alpha Wolf isn't as good as moving that point over to Elemental Assault and maxing it out. Why? Looking at your damage breakdown, your chain lightning damage is significantly higher than the Alpha Wolf proc damage. Yes, Alpha Wolf was like 7% overall, but I feel like getting more Chain Lightning casts off would more than compensate for that. More weapon stacks also means wolves cooling down that much faster. I feel like it could end up similar to the end of Shadowlands where multiple multiple wolves casts would overlap, and especially given the upcoming season 1 set bonus, I feel the damage ramp-up will out pace the Alpha Wolf talent. Time will tell and numbers don't lie. Just wanted my 2 cents in.

Does Tempest explodes on multiple targets if casted after Primordial Wave? I mean spread Flame Shock -> cast Primordial -> cast Tempest, or is it only 1 explosion no matter what? (Could be that you've mentioned something about that, but couldn't notice)

There is only considering aoe dps scenario. It’s not about enh gameplay and problems. Information about enh is presented with enthusiasm, but that should not distract and create the impression of the permissibility of the shaman's current state. He needs urgent rework

Yes they do. I just went back and tested this. You do in fact get a Lightning Rod on each target hit... After doing damage for over 3 minutes tho, maintaining as many Lightning Rods as I could, the damage is still incredibly low. I'm pretty sure it's bugged.

i don't mind LF as a concept either. it can be annoying but it also produces results from pack to pack and i like being able to capitalize on that. This new talent i don't like as much mostly because it last only 8 seconds. which means non stop tabbing and i don't like that.

While the lightning rod talent is "working", it doesnt seem the 20% part of it is working correctly. You can check by the damage done by tempest vs the damage done by lightning rod, and youll see its not 20% as expected.

Yeah I'm working on it. The footage is 1080p from twitch, so I'm not really sure why it's so bad... Gonna turn down my settings in game a bit to reduce some of the clutter and I turned the in game brightness up as well. We'll see.

For as much as people are concerned about shamans, this one at least does look really fun to me. It's exactly the spells I enjoy pressing on enhancement. Though I would take hailstorm as well. Wind, lightning, hail! I am the storm! 😅

Whole bfa was almost a 1 button spec for 95% of any fight. But I've got to say that the "complexity" of enhancement (specially elementalist build) comes from many procs resetting many things and having to spend maelstrom constantly. This is similar to the older version of classic through cata enhancement, many spells to use, but waaaay less actions per minute, wich lead to our 2 main skills and even auto attacks to shine.
