Amazing game by Milano. They play with so much patience and spirit. They don't give up any point easily. Larson and Sylla have absolute best court coverage as outside hitter. Parrocchiale also played superb in defense. Folie and Stevanovic were a little bit quite in some moments but they turned on their machine on set 4 and 5. Let's not talk much about Orro and Thompson because their connection is too good, better than Wolosz and Haak. Conegliano didn't play bad but Milano played better. Congratulations to the second win in this final BO5 series! One more to go. Conegliano still have the chance to win the series but Milano is the favorite right now.

Fantastico! Il cuore e la grinta oltre la tecnica. Ha vinto meritatamente chi ha tirato fuori gli attributi una volta di più. Non si può fare a meno di parlare dei singoli, ma poi di chi? Thompson di questi tempi sembra la nuova Boskovic o se volete determinante come Vargas (che ieri con 38 di febbre resta in campo e mena come un fabbro, da cui vittoria!),il futuro ci dirà se è così. Però Haak non sparisce mai. I numeri di Larson e di Plummer rispondono ai rispettivi detrattori che non mancano mai. Sylla conferma al sottoscritto che quando parte il sacro fuoco non rimane briciola per nessuno. Le centrali non so nemmero chi nominare, punteggi stellari in coppia per quelle di Imoco ma sostanza tanta per quelle di Milonza. I liberi e i palleggiatori che ve lo dico a fare...allora credo che pure ci sia da chiedersi se Imoco ha risentito e risente della eliminazione, può darsi..ma poi vedi tanta grinta, vedi chiudere un set a 14 ma dallatra parte vedi così tanta potenza, così squadra!!!... quest'anno mi sta piacendo proprio😍

​@@fabioarcuti Milano sta facendo un capolavoro: 3-0 nella seconda partita e 3-2 nella terza. Un altro sforzo e rompe il dominio della Imoco nel campionato italiano. Anche Fenerbache ha dimostrato di essere molto forte: reagire nel Golden Set contro il VB dopo un passivo di 3 set a 0 non era semplice. Poi ha dominato Eczacibasi nell'arco di tre partite... davvero niente male.

In my opinion, I would say the race has now expressed a "turning point" ... Milan is a little more "rested" so to speak ..., it only let go of 2set in which it had returned to those confusing phases seen last year, good job Gasparri to let go of the set at the right time and to let the titular sextet rest; among other things, a nice second set of the Imoco where Asia, thanks to a good reception, gave a masterful lesson in high-level volleyball by changing patterns, etc. Milan overall was just as good in defense as Conegliano, better at blocking, less effective with power plants than their opponents, although always good, for the bands Plummer is back to its level (and please stop criticizing it, and one writes it who already last year, in which she was not at this level at all…, had already expressed doubts among the first about her performance, a doubt which obviously had been resolved positively, given the current season made by the American player, the great maturation and " very high performance statistics”); Larson is a bit more in difficulty than in race two: but he's also of a certain age... 😊. Opposing duel, well, Thompson, undoubtedly, nothing to say... the victory over a very good Haak, who however fails to be the leader as Paola did last year for Conegliano, who "charged" the team in these difficult moments leading it to victory, perhaps thanks to even sometimes a not "perfect" understanding with Asia. Sylla amazing, finally 100%x100% again a real thorn in the side for Imoco, Cook as already written, below his level even if much better than race 2 (and this remains a problem for Conegliano). Between Moki and Parrochiale a beautiful clash between free players at a high level continues, even if obviously Moki always remains a step above (but they are subtleties). In short, I could go on further…, but it has been a few years since I have seen such a beautiful and enthralling final and a great balance, I conclude by reconfirming that Conegliano's problem remains of a "psychological" and not a technical/physical nature. Applause and fairplay from Santarelli after the bad "slip" at the end of the interview in match 2 on the bench... At the end of match 3 he admitted the objective superiority of his opponent in this match and admitted the numerous mistakes of his team...

Direi gara a mio avviso che ha espresso ormai un punto di “svolta” … Milano un poco più “riposata” per modo di dire…, ha lasciato andare solo il 2set in cui era tornata in quelle fasi confusive viste lo scorso anno, bravo Gasparri a lasciare andare il set al momento giusto e a far riposare il Sestetto titolare; tra l’altro bel secondo set dell’Imoco dove Asia, complice una buona ricezione, ha dato una lezione magistrale di pallavolo di alto livello cambiando schemi, ecc. Milano complessivamente è stata altrettanto brava in difesa come Conegliano, migliore a muro, meno efficace con le centrali rispetto a gli avversari, seppur sempre brave, per le bande Plummer è tornata al suo livello (e per favore smettiamola di criticarla, e lo scrive uno che già lo scorso anno, in cui non era per niente a questo livello…, aveva già espresso dubbi tra i primi sul suo rendimento, dubbio che ovviamente si era risolto positivamente, visto la stagione attuale fatta dalla giocatrice americana, la grande maturazione e “statistiche di altissimo rendimento”); Larson un pelo più in difficoltà rispetto la gara due: ma ha anche una certa età… 😊, Duello opposte be’ indubbiamente Thompson nulla da dire… la spunta su una bravissima Haak, che però non riesce a essere leader come faceva Paola lo scorso anno per Conegliano, che si “caricava” la squadra in questi momenti difficili portandola alla vittoria, forse complice anche a volte un’intesa non “perfetta” con Asia. Sylla strepitosa, finalmente di nuovo al 100%x100% vera spina nel fianco per l’Imoco, Cook come già scritto, al di sotto del suo livello anche se molto meglio di gara 2 (e questo permane un problema per Conegliano). Tra Moki e Parrochiale continua un bellissimo scontro tra liberi ad alto livello, anche se ovviamente Moki rimane sempre un gradino sopra (ma sono sottigliezze). Insomma, potrei dilungarmi ancora…, ma era da un po’ di anni che non vedevo una finale così bella e avvincente e una grande equilibrio, concludo riconfermando che il problema di Conegliano rimane di carattere “psicologico” e non tecnico/fisico. Plauso e fairplay di Santarelli dopo la brutta “scivolata” a fine intervista in gara 2 sulla panchina… A fine gara 3 ha ammesso la superiorità oggettiva dell’avversario in questa gara e ammesso i numerosi errori della sua squadra…

Sembriamo in sintonia sul commento e sulla questione psicologica delle Pantere ormai quasi gattine spelacchiate (scherzo!). Ed anch'io ho criticato i detrattori di Plummer e Larson..e ripeto che da neutrale mi sto divertendo un mucchio (meno i tifosi di Imoco) e davvero qui si "rischia" il cambio di scettro 👏👏👏

@@fabioarcuti Ciao Fabio, ti ringrazio 😀, ma penso che la "chiave" di tutto sia l' "oggettività" nel commentare, che è cosa molto difficile da fare, perchè siamo tutti tifosi e quindi rischiamo di lasciarci andare. Come sai sono spesso molto autocritico anche con Novara, che è la mia squadra, ma quando oggettivamente gioca male sono il primo ad ammetterlo😉, detto ciò continuerò sempre a tifare Novara e le piemontesi, anche se il prossimo anno, per es. sarebbe facile tifare Milano visto l'arrivo di Paola🤣. Per i detrattori: sì lo so... e ho apprezzato molto la tua oggettività decisamente condivisibile, anche se, a mio avviso i detrattori di Plummer sono molto di più... 😮Condivido, anche io vedere questa finale da "neutrali" la rende ancora più bella, quando ormai ero rassegnato a vedere il solito "copione"... be' per i tifosi di Imoco è dura (se non quasi traumatico 😞) vedere una squadra che ha vinto e stravinto tutto in questi ultimi anni, "vacillare"... vediamo cmq. allora stasera come andrà😉 👋
