Mike when I worked for Tennessee Valley Authority I operated a 325 Cat long stick applying rip rap on the river banks. It was on a flat deck work barge. It listed quite a bit. It was called and turnbuckled down to the barge. It sat next to the bank with a rip rap barge out from it and the tug boat based against it holding them to shore line. It was an awesome job! Thanks for this video it's amazing!!

The truck hooked to the 100 Ton Side dump is from the great state of Iowa. It had standard county plates on it. Also K-Tec scrapers and Vermeer are based in Iowa. Great video

I've never ran a Landoll trailer but the couple guys I know who have absolutely love them. They ran a couple of those Volvo 6x6 trucks pulling two scrapers out at the I-84 I-86 interchange last year, looked like they move a lot of dirt at on time.

The International Truck you were looking at is actually a collaboration between International and Chevrolet. International makes the frame and Driveline, it has a Duramax engine and a Silverado cab. International branded trucks use a International hood, Chevrolet uses a Chevrolet hood and offered in 4500 5500 and 6500 models.

A guy i worked for a US steel in Gary bought 5 1959 30ton Euclids cut the boxes off, put 5th wheels on pulled huge homemade trailers hauling slag out of the pits 7 /365 NO HEAT ,had steel bucket with hot slag to keep warm . I would melt a candle and stick it on the dash to defrost the windshield ! So when i hear somebody crying about their remote mirror is broke i lose it !

That 100 ton truck is United States Military surplus. That truck was designed and built to haul the M1 Abrams tank. It can actually pull 160 tons. God bless

Did you see the GM trucks there? I haven't been there myself but that international you were looking at is a chevy 5500 rebranded. GM is using that straight frame and if you look at the body its the exactly the same.. pretty interesting.

I love this video man I’ve tried for yrs to get to this always so busy can’t cut loose . But I’m going next time! I have recently bought the bobcat grader you were looking at and it’s a learning process for sure and yes visibility is a issue. But corners only.
