Hello FOA,, thanks After I bought this controller, but still not install it, because I'm confusing how it will fully charge the battery and I have load all the time? I think it will keep be keep in high volt of bulk charging, And this will damage the battery storage, So, please advise what is solution Thanks

Why some of the menus not available in my system??

My unit is on a 48v pack that is 14s Lithium Polymer packs with custom battery menu setup for 57 v top out... however on occasion it will spike output as high as 62v which throws my inverter into a tizzy as its got an over voltage cutoff of 60v. How does one prevent the random overvoltage situation when we have great sunshine on our input PV array? Also I know there is a new firmware avail as my unit is older. How does on. Update that?

Great question. Any settings changes made on the MPPT60 will transfer to SCP and vice versa.

anyone know how to reset the Ground Fault error on these MPPT60 controllers? I've got 3 controllers that all show the same fault. this is the 3rd time it has happened in 6 months or so. I'm having the techs come out to try to figure out what's going on, but I'd like to get my (off grid) house back running temporarily if I can figure out how to reset the fault(s).

Hi @bschena, sorry to hear about your system. With multiple MPPT60 units, only one ground fault fuse should be installed in one MPPT 60. If that fuse has blown, it will need to be replaced by a qualified person. Thank you.

I am a solar installer, but I've never installed any Xantrex products, I usually just install Outback, but I just bought a Conext MPPT 60 150, and I'm trying to configure it before installing in the customer's system, but it only shows the History, Battery, and Display menus. The other menus are all missing! I think those are known as the Advanced menus. Outback has a password to get in to those settings. What password or button settings do I need to get into the Advanced menus for a Conext MPPT?

Nemmind, I found the answer. Basic/Advanced menu viewing is configured in the Display Menu.

@@SESolar I installed it, entered the settings I needed, and it works fine, but I did have one problem installing it - the knockouts on the bottom did not pop out like normal knockouts are supposed to do. Instead, they appeared to be insufficiently stamped, so they were stuck in place and I had to use a knockout punch tool to make the holes I needed.

@@thadhorner5129 Thanks for replying to your own post! I was looking for this info also! Iv installed a few Schneider systems, Inverter/MPPT/SCP, and usually configure everything on the SCP. Today I hooked up an MPPT to a battery by itself to get it charged and ready to install in the system, still putting the rest system together, but wanted to get the batteries charging while I was working on other stuff. I was confused by the EXTREMELY basic menus on the MPPT, and was thinking that it really sucks you have to have a complete Schneider system (Inverter/SCP) to actually fully configure an MPPT controller!!! The default AGM settings work pretty good for Lithium thou, probably not ideal, but works. Next time I mess with one, without the SCP, I will have to remember to switch to the advanced menu, the basic menu lets you change just about... nothing. I know on the SCP you can press ENTER/UP/DOWN, all together for about 3 seconds, and an "advanced settings" menu will be added to the display, kind of an "installers secret menu" I have felt your pain with the knockouts on these things thou, It seems like there was a batch with very poor knockouts, you had to try to punch them out from INSIDE the unit, instead of from the outside, which is pretty difficult since they are tucked way in the back, and they are so GENEROUS (NOOOOTTTTT!!!!) with wiring room inside these units. Besides being pre punched the wrong way, they were punched very poorly and were very hard to knock out. The last couple MPPTs Ive installed, it seems they have fixed this issue, and are easy to knock out, like they should be. (I love Schneiders equipment and systems, but I REALLY hate wiring them up! Cant they give us a little more room!)

Hi, I have been using this mppt contoller for 1 yr and 1/2 but know in the today's screen it shows 0.0 Ah and 0.0 kwh and in the Output screens is showing the amount of V and nothing else. But it is charging the battery bank. What would be the problem?

Hi Off Grid in St Lucia, the MPPT60 has a single input for battery connection, therefore it can only charge 1 battery bank. Multiple controllers would be needed to charge separate battery banks (at least 1 for 1). That said, you can have multiple controllers on a common battery bank provided the bank is sized to accept total current. That would be according to battery specs.

Hi Tony, This means that the solar charge controller is ready to restart but waiting for the timeout period to expire. This condition is normally only observed at dusk and dawn.
