Aaron actually sings on some Big Red Machine stuff (my fav is Magnolia). Mostly the songs that were too personal for him to fully hand off to someone else. To me his voice is a raw, cozy-folky vibe

I’ve had never heard music from The National till Taylor started working with them. This was my first album I’ve heard from them and wow, would highly recommend listening to the entire thing, it’s beautiful. The Alcott is one of my favorites of course but the album as a whole was really great, definitely excited to go back and listen to more of their stuff.

The sound for this song is a grower for me 🙈 but lyrics/storytelling is beautiful ✨ of course lol (coney island is actually my fave by them! lol) also I don’t know much of The National’s music either, but I do vibe with Don’t Swallow the Cap, Sea of Love, Terrible Love (Alternate Version), I Need My Girl (Aly & AJ introduced me to that song specifically and the band overall too!)
