Where the best team in the league Chicago White Sox decided to lose the World Series intentionally. Everyone on the team was perma banned from baseball, which included a great player named Joe Jackson. Shoeless Joe Jackson put up MVP number for the last 10 seasons of his career and was still a top 5 to 10 player when he was perma banned.

I've heard stimulants aren't the only form of PED for gamers; beta blockers are also used, to SLOW the heart rate. Honestly the FGC is pretty lucky that, simply by their nature, they're significantly harder to cheat in compared to, say, FPS. Cheating is endemic in many shooters. In speedrunning too.
