Remember seeing The Charlie Daniel's Band, and Alabama back in the 70's, 80's, they both had their semi truck's and buses all painted in Confederate flags, all Southern Rock bands did back then. These guys are scheduled to play a concert, that is free, during the Old Soldiers Reunion in Newton, NC. It is an event to honor veterans that started in 1889. So, many each year many try to shut it down because it started by celebrating our veterans, who happened to be confederate.

I was at their final jam at Miss Kitty's. My wife and I were in the military at the time. Now she is in Illinois and I am in North Idaho, yes there is a big difference in the state. We are still together, she had to go back and help her dad after surgery now I am helping with my mom after surgery, after surgery on my knee a week ago. Love to here they have a better jam in Illinois then the other pos fair. And wife will be coming home middle of September
