The South is a special place. It's my home. It's a place I love. It's an area of wonderful people. I've been up north. Ive seen Chicago, Boston and New York. Ive been to the west coast. San Diego, LA and San Francisco. You can have them all. There are no better people in this country than a bunch of southern good old boys. Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and the hills of Tennessee. Home of the finest people god has seen fit to put on this earth.

True country. Steel guitar, awesome story, heritage. I used to hit the 2 step track to this song and others by them at the country clubs in the 90's and dance for hours. I danced with women who were white, black, Oriental, and Hispanic and PC stood for Pure Country. And "Daddy Never was the Cadillac Kind" is one of my funeral songs.

Taylor Swift type performers is what happened. I believe a lot of acts are specifically engineered by the music industry to make as much money as possible. Auto tune can take someone who cant carry a tune in a bucket and make them a superstar. Gone are the days of Confederate Railroad, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, John Anderson, and the list goes on and on and on.

***** You can't listen to what? Garth Brooks or Taylor Swift? I'm confused by what you said as to exactly what you mean you can't listen to/stand.

I completely forgot about this band my wife & I were living on Franklin Rd in Marietta right across from Miss Kitty's in 86-88 when they were playing around that part of town cause that's where their from. Seems I remember them from Murph's off S Cobb Dr & a place down the street on Franklin they wouldn't have been big enough for Miss Kittie's then. Everybody listened to them then but music changed & we got older, shit I grew up with the Atlanta Rhythm Section in Doraville even went to 2 Champagne Jams & never listen to them anymore either.
