Amen, all anyone needs to do to be saved is to believe, trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour, for he has already done all, everything necessary to save anyone forever, we only need to believe he did it for us, that includes me and each and every individual person. Each must individually trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour to be saved that's it.

John 6:28-29 What is the work of the Father? To believe on the on whom he has sent
@rosemarietolentino32188 ай бұрын
I tell people all the time they already know John 3:16. So I show them John 6:28-29. God’s Works. John 6:40. God’s Will. Along with Romans 2:28-29. And Romans 9:6-13.

Even without the context Romans 10:9 is perfectly clear; it's a conditional statement. A statement of the form "If X then Y" logically means whenever X happens Y follows. Applied to Romans 10:9 this principle means that confessing with the mouth AND believing in the heart ... brings assurance of salvation. It does not mean that either one of these actions is necessary in order to obtain salvation. The logical form is do these things and you shall be saved. Fail to do them and be damned is nowhere in view.

You can’t help but confess. Even when Jesus told people He healed not to say anything about it. They could not help themselves of the joy of the Lord. There is nothing more powerful than the awareness of the presence of God All Mighty.

I know lots of people confessing Christ with their mouths.... One of my scrupulosity friends does this all the time 🥺. Pastors saying Jesus is coming are teaching this. Real Bible Believers with Gene Kim uses sinner prayer, ask Jesus into your heart ( I heard it yesterday) and um... Confess Christ with your mouth.... Chick tracks are Lordship salvation too.

Thanks for addressing the " Chick Tracks." False Gospel literature is plagueing the church. Thanks to the Lord for your discernment. Larry Smith.

I believe these verses are simple and in tune with all other salvation verses. The Jews were saved by faith, too. There is only one gospel from Genesis to Revelation. The gospel is for the Jew and the Gentile (Romans 1:16). This is what Romans 4 is all about where Abraham and David are used as examples of salvation by faith by Paul. Confess simply means 'acknowledge' in Greek. Romans 9 is saying 'acknowledge that Jesus is THE LORD (definite article). It is agreeing with the DEITY of Jesus Christ! The emphasis is on BELIEF UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS and agreement that Jesus Christ is Lord. It simply means 'Believe on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and you will be saved' just as in Acts 16:30-31 which is in line with all major salvation verses. People trip on the word CONFESS too easily without looking up the meaning. Believing in the deity of Christ is essential! Christ is God in the flesh and He is eternal! Yankee Arnold was saved on these verses! They are not as difficult as people make them out to be.

Yes, there need not be any confusion over these verses. The Jews needed to understand that JESUS is the Messiah, not someone yet to come. They just missed the ball. Regardless, everyone needs to acknowledge the fact that Jesus Christ died for their sins on the cross, and He alone paid for their sins. Once they believe in Him, they are saved into eternal life. - Trent

@@BibleLine The leadership of the nation missed the ball and many other Jews, but all through the OT and NT individual Jews were saved by faith alone. Eternal security is all through the OT. They looked forward to their coming Messiah and we look back to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Jews just did not know His name. The Jews may have been brought back to their land as a nation in unbelief, but individual Jews get saved now. The Lord is always there ready to save anyone who wants to be.

@@BibleLine Many Jews were saved over the transition in the gospels, too, I should add. The Book of Acts begins mostly Jewish and slowly moves into gentile territory. God's plan is wonderful!

It doesn’t take Satan much to steal the word from most. They look out in the world and not the battlefield of the mind. Romans 8 is not familiar to most people who are saying that they are saved.
@joannacarlson94814 ай бұрын
If the passage is for the Jews, doesn’t it have to do with when Jesus said that He wouldn’t come until the Jewish people said, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”?

Amen Brother. Acts 16:31 Period. Salvation is done, not do. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. Romans 3:26-28. You cannot boast in 0. John 10:28-29. Double eternal security. Romans 6:23 The GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE. Not faith as the Calvinist teach. Faith never saved anyone, but First Corinthians 15:1-4 does. Faith is just believing what the bible says. First John 5;13. These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Gods word. John 6:47. Gods word. John 3:16-18. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it.

First John 2:2. John 3:18. The simplicity of the gospel. That is the great commission. To go into all the world and preach the gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4. First Corinthians 1:21. John 5:24. Gods word. HATH means present tense. Colossians 3:3.
