Great video. Very helpful.Thank you. When I had confessed a mortal sin at a retreat, I experienced a peace like never before. A peace that truly surpasses all understanding. I felt so close to God and even received a healing of a migraine episode during a session at the same retreat . I never had such a deep experience when I had attended previously with venial sins. It is an amazing testament to God's unconditional love and unfathomable mercy.

I know, it seems, like King David. When we’re good, we’re very good but when we’re bad, we’re brutal. “The mercies are the Lord are the glories of Him. His wonderful works, the glories of men.” So remember, discernment is essential to surviving the tribulation; “Satan is an illusionist, who predicts. God is an Illustrator, who fulfills Promises.” Then pray; “ Lord Jesus Christ, send NOW Your Spirit over the whole earth. Let Thy Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all peoples and nations, thereby preserving them from degeneration, disaster and war. May Our Lady Of Nations, who once was Mary, be thou our advocate. Amen “ Courage!

Exorcist Father Carlos Martins was an atheist and began with going to Holy Adoration. He didn't believe that Jesus was truly present in "that cracker" as many think it's just that when it isn't. I can't recall the exact words, but Father Martins did ask God if He was real? Non the less God grabbed him unexpectedly. So be patient and speak to God with sincerity. My patron saint, Saint Augustine of Hippo, once said, God is more friend than any friend, more brother than any brother and more lover than any lover. He'll hear you and answer you in His ways.

it has been decades since my last confession and I have committed innumerable sins. I dread having to take the time of the priest to go through them and I dread the vulnerability of confessing them out loud. But God is good and God is gracious and longs to absolve us so that we can have peace. After watching many videos, I have decided I will make my confession before Easter this year and from then on go regularly. I am also praying the rosary daily for the first time in my life and can see how Jesus and Mother Mary are softening my heart to be able to face the sacrement of reconciliation in their love and encouragement for my own good. Thank you for this and all of your videos, the Lord works through you. I pray now for the courage to do as the Holy Spirit is leading me.

If I may give you some advice. 1) Go to the church and look Jesus hidden in the tabernacle or Jesus in Adoration and confess your sins to him first. This will help tremendously. 2) Say A prayer to Our Lady consecrating your confession to Mary so she will help you make a good one. God bless you my sister!

@@gabiafterhours Hi Gabi. As my heart had desired, I went to my first confession in a long time. I prayed, as you suggested beforehand, giving even my fear of saying my sins out loud. I was blessed in that by circumstance, I was given a face-to-face confession, which had been the desire of my heart, although I did not ask for it. The priest was gracious and loving. The Lord and Our Lady held my hand through my tears and words. It was truly holy and blessed. Thank you again for your ministry, your guidance and your Holy Spirit blessed videos!

Love this!!! People even go on Catholic sites and criticise the Faith! This, I can’t fathom, I have absolutely NO interest in going on any other faith sites! 🤷🏻♀️ Thank God for confession and His unconditional love and mercy! We are so so unworthy of His love, yet He lovingly awaits and readily embraces us. I have started going through the examination of conscience & jotting down my sins under each heading, so I go into confession with my little (or not so little 🙈) “list” of sins so I’m sure I remember everything. Unfortunately, our confessions are closed again here so we get general absolution at the first week of the month masses. Pray for us 🙏

Properly speaking, what is written on our hearts is the natural law. The moral law includes the natural law, but the natural law is only a part of it. For example, that we are to obey the positive laws of the Church not to eat meat on Fridays is not part of the natural law, but we are still bound to obey it.

Gabi, I am really struggling. I have terrible scrupulosity, so Holy Mass is literally aguish for me. Every Mass, I see people do things like chewing gum (sometimes approaching Holy Communion with it still in their mouths), and today I even saw someone bring the Holy Eucharist back with them to their pew...Because of not knowing how to handle these situations, and because my fear of sins of omission, I often get very despondent & confused. I guess my question is, what would you do if you saw people doing these things? I could really use your help.

That is often what priests who don't like to hear confessions say. Confession is meant to clean the soul. You have concupiscence. You are weak. You are going to fall and usually to the same vices. Keep getting back up. One day you will overcome your fault. If you are not praying more than one Rosary... start there. Work your way up to the number of Rosaries it takes for you to keep your head out of hell. And still return to the confessional. I go weekly. God bless you and consider finding a confessor who loves confession.

Here's a great quote: "Do not leave Jesus because of Judas." While the Church has experienced scandal, that does not mean that it isn't still the One True Church of Jesus Christ. We must trust in Jesus' words when He said "the gates of hell will never prevail against it"--no matter how bad things may seem. God bless you, and I pray you keep digging deeper into the Catholic faith. I reverted back 1.5 years ago and, through God's grace, my life has been completely transformed.
@10010110110102 жыл бұрын
Sin is always a problem, and it always will be until the end. You don't go to Chruch just to hear some Priest (who in the Mass is in Persona Christi), but to worship God. This worship involves the offering of the only pure Sacrifice, where the perfect once-for-all Sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is presented once again and we partake of His Grace. Any institution dealing with sinful, fallen human beings will have issues. But despite these issues God works through us sinful men, and we can grow in Him to be better. Avoid gossip and don't look for scandal with a critical eye. Judgment is the Lord's and we shall be judged for every idle word. But the Word of the Lord shall stand forever. God bless.
