Sorry Sola Scriptura simply means that we use Scripture as the final word. We don't get rid of church history, but we also measure it against the Bible. Also most protestant churches agree on the essentials of being a Christian. So I can go to a Baptist church, assemblies of God, evangelical free church, mainline churches which have stuck with their old theology and haven't been infiltrated by progressivism and Marxism,, church of the Nazarene, Full Gospel Baptist church, Calvary chapel, among others and be taught the essentials of the Faith that even Catholics hold. Believe it or not, we are not a new group but a group that stood up and said there were things that needed to be reformed and return back to the first couple hundred years after Christ. There were proto Protestants in the first millennium too, and the early church fathers disagreed often with each other on different aspects of the faith. There were always believers outside of the official Catholic Church which wasn't even a thing until the late second-third century. I really hate when people misrepresent us. Yes there are progressives who have infiltrated, and yes some people have gone wayward in teaching, but Christians preach against those heresies. But honestly, lots of supposed believers of any faith start making up their own beliefs or don't even practice. It's not exclusive to Protestants.

At 27:45 when he starts talking about obsession, where an idea is planted in ur mind and you can’t shake it. I’ve recently dealt with this. It may be a coincidence but it only happens when I’m in a state of mortal sin. But whenever I have unconfessed mortal sin, I have a temptation to atheism. Even though I am not at all convinced intellectually of atheism, there always seems to be a tug at my heart to leave Christianity and become atheist. It’s just a feeling/thought I can not shake until I go to confession. Confession is so so important.

The word "anti" in antichrist does not mean someone who is going to be openly anti (against) Christ. That word "anti" in the original Bible language can actually mean "IN PLACE OF". Call your local parish and find out when they offer it. Then, just go and sit in silence in Christ’s Presence. Take your bible. Read scripture, pray, contemplate. Tell the Lord of your search for truth, of your doubts, worries, even fears. Then, be as patient with Him as He has been with you. When you receive the grace to know that HE IS THERE, you will be forever changed. Miracles occur in Christ’s presence - of that I can personally attest.

Having had zero religious upbringing, the Lord sent a Catholic woman who has not been my wife of 44 years. In 1985, we vacationed in Europe. She insisted on going to Lourdes. So, we went. At her "suggestion" I crossed myself with water from the grotto and inexplicably began to weep. A few days later as we drove to Italy, we "accidentally" encountered Pope Saint John Paul II's motorcade in Genoa, Italy. We received his apostolic blessing as members of the crowd. The next year I was in RCIA. Fast forward to 2008. Cancer arrived. Stage IV T-Cell Lymphoma. Poor prognosis. After therapy, it immediately relapsed, dropping my prognosis to "extremely poor." A clinical trial placed me in remission again. However, the Lymphoma relapsed again, but had mutated into two sub-types, only one of which would respond to therapy. From years of treatment, I also developed a marrow cancer, so I now had three simultaneous cancers. My hematologist used three drugs from an experimental regimen and only two infusions placed me in full remission from both lymphomas, and reduced the marrow cancer to "minimum residual disease." My atheist hematologist called it "a miracle." I underwent a stem cell transplant in 2015 and the lymphomas and marrow cancer are gone. In 2009 at my first relapse, I abandoned my life into Gods hands and mentally prepared for death. As soon as I trusted God (as completely as I could), He handed my life back to me. I went on to develop a skin cancer, but am now also in remission. I suspect that more suffering lies ahead, but I praise God for the grace of sustaining me through all of this, and through what will come. Amen.

I have felt the calling recently, and have been searching, I feel the Catholic Faith calling to me. I am in a unique situation in Japan and only one Catholic Church that has Mass in English. The one problem is there are no RCIA classes in English. I pray that this problem will work itself out!

40 yrs ago, seems like yesterday, I was dating someone who broke up with me… I went to mass each morning & prayed for St Jude’s intercession. Months had gone by and I suddenly received a call from this boyfriend. But both St Jude and Gods strength gave me different eyes in truly seeing that I was worthy of not this guy. I went out w him again & I saw the truth others were aware. lol never saw him again! Also I was blessed with a job that would eventually lead me to my dream job.
