Welcome to my channel, where I'm opening up in today's vlog about a personal struggle I've been facing as a workaholic virtual assistant.
In this vlog, I will share glimpses of my everyday life - cooking a delicious meal and tackling daily tasks. But this vlog is more than just a regular day in my life. It's a heartfelt confession that I've been neglecting my family due to my constant overworking. It hit me hard when I realized I wasn't there for my mother when she was hospitalized.
It's crucial for me to share this story so that others who might be struggling with similar challenges can find comfort and relate to my experiences. If you constantly find yourself buried in work and feel the strain on personal relationships, this vlog is for you.

I think the other one is karioka? 😏 I can understand your dilemma and I've been in situations like that too. I promise you'll find out and realize that the company is more understanding and considerate when it comes to family. Go ahead and visit your mom kahit isang weekend lang. That will help her feel better and recuperate faster. About being addicted to work and identifying as someone who is addicted to work, why not re-phrase it to "you are someone who is productive, you are a person who provides?" :) But my dear, please do not feel guilty about taking time off from work, or from life itself. Disconnecting for a while is something you owe to yourself You can't be your best if you are strained and empty. R&R is a basic human need. I think your mom's home being off-the-grid is a great opportunity on its own to really spend time with your family, with yourself, unbothered by responsibilities, and other adulting stuff we have. And you are not a terrible friend, sibling, or daughter. If you are you wouldn't be working too hard to provide for your family. I hope your mom feels better and goes back to tip-top shape in no time. Sending you virtual hugs! Take it easy!

Don't worry about reciprocating my dear. Your videos inspire me @@homeygumi esp. the food you cook. Just imagine every week I have to think what to cook for my family, ugh... pero you give me ideas that make the task easier. :) 🖤

dentist = icecream! always! 😊😮😅 me, i eat santol with only salt 😊 i am also excited to eat with you since all the ingredients are waving at me 😊😊 and correction, you’re not choosing your work over your family. you chose your family by prioritizing to earn while sacrificing all the longings to be with them. what you’re doing is selflessness. believe it or not, your presence is of no help to your family if the needs for survival are neglected. and no, i’m not telling you to never visit your mother. you can always visit all you want but if the situation calls for you to earn for them, then if i’m on your shoes, i’ll choose to be away and provide than be near and witness how we struggle for a living. don’t think negative of yourself sissy. i’m proud of you and of all bread winners out there! but ofcourse if you can make a way, it’s a great thing to go visit and bond, talk, laugh with your fam! ❤ wowwww, scenic Baguio again! i have a videos and photos of all those places you showed here! so jealous of you to get to see it everyday or whenever you want 😊 go go go sissy! ❤

It's not a good thing when you place your identity based on your work... I mean sure, common sense will tell us that of course we all need to do what we can do to earn a living for ourselves and for the people who depend on us... But if you allow it to be the ONLY thing that you are choosing, then you're not gonna feel fulfillment no matter how many times you justify it to yourself... You are a good provider, but you also need to honor the part of you that's urging you to be someone else... a daughter, a friend etc... Just a friendly suggestion, if you have to work two jobs just to make both ends meet, have you tried looking for just one job that will give you a much higher basic pay? Perhaps look for a job in another industry I suppose? These days, you no longer need a college diploma to land a high paying job... All you need is a little bit of creativity and openness... Everything can be learned in youtube nowadays.

Thank you so much for your wise pieces of advice. You've probably had experiences similar to this before as your words come from a place of wisdom. I actually don't have to work two jobs just to make ends meet, because both jobs pay well and even if I drop one of them, I will still have a comfy life. But I have financial goals for my family and that's why I work myself to death. But you're right, I will probably never feel content even if I get a third job anyway if I disregard my other roles in life. Thank you again for your wise words. I will keep these in mind.

everything that takes so much space of God in your life is a form of idolatry. don’t make your job be your god. go back home and take care of your mother. the Lord is so good that He supplied all your needs according to the riches in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. look at what He did for your mom’s hospital bill. He proved that Hes the provider.
