I think it's not right sir, cause Jesus Christ carried our sins but he is not our sins, btw how can our sins forgive us our sins, does it make sense to you?

@@samchidobi just pray for understanding... Interpretation is not just about quoting scriptures to defend, reject or accept something. He already said Christ was made sin and so you confess him that was made sin not the sin or sins you committed... This is not the kind of statement or interpretation that you hear in everyday church circle... So just pray for understanding... You confess two sins or three thats the one you know you committed so what of the one you committed that you don't know... It's not about confession of sin but confession of him that was made sin... Still pray for understanding

Jesus became our sin so that today we become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus became sin, and layed down his life as a payment for sin (death)... it also had to be the death of a perfect man and not a sinner and that's why God (the perfect one) became a man to take that position for imperfect man Jesus as our sin, died, as the payment for our sin meaning since Jesus Christ has paid for our sin on our behalf by dying.... we no longer need to pay for sin. it has been paid for that's how Jesus, our sacrifice for sin paid for and cleared our sins for forever
