She is so admirable. The strength it takes to be a woman in that field and to do it with such grace. Definitely one of my favorite interviews by far!!

What a great interview Ian. Question after question you did a great job. She has renewed my faith in cops. There is at least one law abiding cop out there. Good job! Thank you!

She is a bad ass! This is the absolute 1st department I’ve ever heard of cross-trained in fire and police. Thank GOD that wasn’t a thing here in south central KY. 23 years of just LE was enough for me.. no way I would have wanted to do BOTH at the same time.. Hopefully she gets “Double” hazardous retirement… Stay safe Sis!!

MAny years ago my father in law committed suicide. He owned a tri Plex when he did it. It took a neighborhood kid who's ball went in the yard. The child looked in the window and saw the body. He was dead for at least a month. Had to pay for a hazmat team to clean the apartment. Her description is picture perfect. Not a good thing to remember.

I hate when jailers say you need to be a people person to work corrections. People persons are the worst. Your friendly officers are the ones that are downed ducks that are bringing in contraband and hooking up with inmates. 😊

Amazing that 17 and 18 yr olds can be handed loaded weapons and thrown into an active war and fight for your freedom too, handling real bombs and driving tanks and armored vehicles, eh? Also amazing and odd, we expect 19-22 yr olds to know what they want to be when they’ve graduated college and “grow up” but yet the frontal lobe in the brain, where appropriate decision making and maturity comes from doesn’t completely finish developing until the age of 24 - 26 yrs old too, eh?! Make all of that make sense! 🧐🤔😳

Interesting, but theirs a weird energy within the conversation. The she's a cop and she knows your a "criminal" type vibe. I'm surprised she did the podcast to begin with. Criminals are people too🤣 She looks at criminals as sub human. And doeesnt understand that part of keeping your sanity and good mental health is finding a routine to pass all the dead time.
