Zero waste has-been my motto too and I often wondered how to use these pieces up other than doggie beds. I really love this. Thanks so much !

I agree with the others, a very well presented video and interesting project. I like the astronaut floating around the milky way as that's what it became to me when he was added.

Amazon has inexpensive teflon coated fiberglass sheets. I bought the multi-sheet pack. I use them for this "wet work" and I use them as pressing cloths for quilting. The sheets get very hot and they are breathable...so if you are spritzing and pressing there is room for steam to escape. I cut them into several different shapes. They protect iron from gunk and fabric from iron gunk--win win. I keep the large sheet intact as a press cloth for quilt basting. Your videos are inspiring and delightful. Keep them coming.

I highly recommend getting a mini iron like the SteamFast for projects like this that involve tiny pieces. I always find it much more convenient than wrangling the large iron. It's the size of your hand, and shouldn't cost more than about $20. It has temperature control and steam on/off, and is really decently made for such a small thing.

So is this "crispy" for craft projects and decor or does it come out soft and durable enough to use in a usable well loved quilt?
