The content I create is meant for those who already have an understanding of cold process soap making. Cold process soapmaking involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can permanently damage your eyes and burn your skin. When making soap, you should already know and practice lye safe handling procedures and always wear safety gear during the entire soapmaking process, even while cleaning up. Wow, we are both in alignment creatively. I cut up 6-7 different coloured soap pieces into squares to mix into a new soap batch a couple of weeks ago, with the very same thinking. Such a good idea to use up spare small pieces and left overs. And so so so pretty too. I used coconut oil, RSPO palm oil, olive oil, and castor oil. 200g of pieces to embed looks about right, I think I had double that which makes the soap bar squares a bit more overcrowded. But least I know I never need to waste any soap pieces, ever. I can embed them, confetti them as thin strips of soap, melt down and rebatch them in a hot process way, or add the soap as tiny crumbles to a fresh new soap batch. Amazing

The best looking confetti bar of soap ever ❤ I love the color combination and spread on each bar... the edge cutter though gives a neat look but I think you cutting the edges manually with the vegetable peeler gives the soap more depth and makes them look prettier.. love the video ❤

One of the reasons I don't make "confetti" soap is that I don't want the hassle of shredding soap, but I wouldn't have an issue with just chopping up my end pieces into length or squares and using them later. And I just may check out the Edgemobile.
